I heard St. Pat wasn't going to be competing in the district baseball tournament, how does hat effect how that gets drawn? It'd be awful to see Augusta get a 1st round by just by the luck of the draw. I also think since Augusta voted to have it at the Fieldhouse then Bracken should get it once of the 4 years, or just give it to Mason permimately and leave it alone. I understand Bracken's reasoning for wanting it, but no sense in bickering over it, I heard a rumor of possible upgrades coming to the Fieldhouse anyway.

I do believe he was interviewed or at least a person of interest if I recall correctly. @sumoroyal would know for sure. But if you don't think he can coach then you must not have seen him get the Robertson Co boys team to the regional tournament this year.

As far as I'm concerned, Bracken Co. had the right guy for the job and told him to hit the road a couple years ago. Coach Kelsch put his heart and soul into Lady Bear basketball and became the most successful coach in BCHS history. Wish he was someplace where he could get a bit more talent than he'll get at RCS, but job security won't be an issue there.

I had also heard this a couple days after the Campbell/Bracken Region game. Then Michael Antrobus got an offer soon after, hope it isn't true. Whoever gets Austin is getting a great talent.

If you're referring to Paula Buser, no. She had to be begged to come out of retirement and be an assistant for Cox, if she does anything it will be to go back into retirement.

Hammer taught me Geometry the one year he was at MCHS as a teacher/coach. Glad to see things are going well for him since he left Maysville.

Doubt Mrs. Schultz would be interested, her husband now works for Crounse and with two kids it would be a lot for her to handle with him being on and of the boat every two weeks. I can't see DeSarae Chambers being interested at all, mostly for the fact she is a full blooded Lady Royal and the other because she now has two kids and just bought a new house in downtown Maysville. Whoever does get this job will have their hands full, that's for sure.

So it's Mason County's fault that kids aren't interested in playing football? They have the YMCA flag football and Knights Football 5th-6th grade then middle school teams 7th-8th grade, they do everything to give kids the option. Just no interest in playing

Kind of interesting not to see a player from the 10th Region on there, you have all of the good GRC players, as well as those from Scott, Campbell, and Mason. Thought O'Mara (10th Region POY) or Igo from GRC should've snuck in there somewhere, at least one of them.

Mason County doesn't cut anyone from the football team, but I forgot you know everything about MCHS even though your username is Brooksville. :idunno:

Incorrect, it seems that way because there are less and less kids playing sports ever single year. Mason County is 4A, but yet only have 32 kids (not 100% sure on that but it's close) on the football team? Sport aren't like they used to be to the Maysville population for whatever the reason may be, I highly doubt theres tons of females in Maysville that want to play basketball. Let's face it, girls basketball is not a popular sport at all, and me being fresh out of MCHS I know how the females in the school system are, theres 1000s of things teenage girls would rather do than play basketball. But saying that Mason County put all their eggs in one basket is incorrect. This group of girls just stuck together to make it seem that way.

Wilder would be the perfect choice, the Fieldhouse would look great down there next to the movie theater with DQ right there too! Go getcha a Blizzard after school, practice, or a game! Why would it matter if MC kids would wanna commute? According to you guys it doesn't matter if you win with homegrown kids or what appears to be a team no different from an AAU team. Apparently winning is all that matters, whether it's done right or wrong!

Can't speak for all, but would be shocked to see any changes. Would expect Cox to remain at MC considering he has his first child on the way and the only place I could see him going would be back to his ole stomping grounds of PC, but Keaton has that one locked up for a while.

Hey @sumoroyal guess we just need to pick MCHS up and move it to the middle of Winchester or Wilder to have chance next year, then maybe we'll attract more players and everyone can bash us for winning with transfers. :ohbrother:

Chance he just got overlooked then because of his size or just didn't get many shots?

He's not going anywhere yet, but don't be surprised to see him leaving BG in the next few years.

Not sure why he would be okay with a first round knock out but okie. The Polar Bears essentially lose everyone, Paris loses some too but not near as much.
