These two teams last played December 9th @ Scott with the Eagles winning 85-72. Will the Eagles blow out the Royals once again or will the Royals narrow the margin and pull off the upset in the Fieldhouse?

This game will be a lot different than that early game. This is at the Fieldhouse, Fox is playing and our defense is now a lot better. That game we game up a lot of lay ups and hopefully that won't be the case. Also, Lofton was a no show that game and got to techs and was ejected. Not saying we will win, but should be a much better game.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Ohmer have a triple double in the first meeting with 41 points?? Much like Crawford I don't think the royals have anyone who can match up with Ohmer, and he's surrounded by a more talented and overall better group of support. However, this ones closer than people think it will be, Royals will have a chance late to win this one.

Not to hijack thread but it never ceases to amaze me that the 10th region continues to play these games year in year out at the fieldhouse. No way would I give a program like Mason home court every year in the Region. No way.

The Royals haven't faired well in the Region when it's been at the Fieldhouse in recent years. They didn't make it in '13, '14 and then had the best team in the Region in '15 and exited 1st Round to Harrison Co. In '12 the tournament was at MoCo in which they made it all the way to the finals and then of course won it at MoCo last year.

It might give the royals such an advantage, one so big the last time they won a regional title in that building was 2010 not only was this the last time they were in the finals in this building or anything. Plain and simple the fieldhouse is BY FAR the best location to host the 10th. If I remember correctly the Northern Kentucky schools had a haul to get to MOCO last season and you had a championship game where the 2 schools that are 20 minutes had to drive over an hour to get to the game. The fieldhouse sets in the center of the region, its the nicest and biggest gym while being extremely close to the center of the 10th. The fieldhouse should host every year IMO.

I have said abut fifty times on this is that yes it is a slight advantage. About 95% of the time the besteam wins. It is an advantage for Montgomey but they have not won any of the three times. Mason has won two. Bottom line is it is all about the money. Did you see the District crowds.

I agree, this is not another why is it at Mason thread. Blame Watchmen!!!!!

I'll try to right the ship. I haven't decided on a winner yet, but I think it will come down to 4 point game or less. I don't see any team running away with huge win here.
