For Mason County to win this game Ty Fox and Dalton Perkins both have to have good games on the inside. But Mason also has to feed the ball to both of them when their open and let them work down low. Levi also has to play well and keep his head cool and not let the trash taking get to him. But that goes for any of those kids. Hope that it is a good game and I am sure that the field house will be crazy as it always is this time a year.

Will the referees in this one fall for the Dunaway flops? He loves to go in the lane and then start flailing arms all over the place.

 

Ohmer gets alot of suspect calls as well.

I think the Fox kid brings size and toughness to the Royals...Mason is suspect on defense...watched Pendleton and Paris get pretty much whatever they liked against Mason...if they can get back on defense and stop Scott in transition and make a half court game they have a shot...if not Ohmer goes for 30+

This team isn't the same team that played those 2 teams, they're definitely peaking at the right time. You've got your top 4 for sure , but I don't believe the royals are that far off the pace

I agree, jozeywells, but the evidence does look a little suspect. Their 5 game win streak has come against teams with a 50-91 combined won/lost records...(Western Brown @7-16; Harrison Co @6-25; Brossart @10-20; Augusta @11-16; and Bracken @16-14. Not exactly a murderer's row! Scott will be a major upward leap in competition.

Alright, I've thought about it.. My heart says Royals, my head says Scott. BUT..... I'm going with the upset. I wouldn't put money on it, but I think the Royals have enough in the tank to pull it off if they play well, if not it'll be ugly.

Looked like he went right through Scott's defense and took the ball up strong with a Scott player leaning into him for the foul, or was there another play that caused you to call him an actor? Never heard Hegyi called an actor. Always seems to be a strong straight up player.

The video I saw seemed as if the foul was before he got in the shooting motion, but I wasn't the one to make that statement so I'm not sure what they were referring to.

Baxter-I agree. If their is an argument, it should be that the officials didn't call the 2 fouls at about the free throw line before Hegyi went up strong for the shot. In the whole series, I did not see any "acting" by Hegyi. Just a player going hard to the basket to tie the game.

This entire cc / Scott thing needs to move on. Forget what the players did, the video I watched showed very poor alignment for scotts defense during the last possession. I out that on he coaches. 7 sec's left having to go 3/4 court you tell your offensive player to drive to the hole. They are not going to foul you so get to the rim, if they do stop you, kick it right or left because one of them will be wide open.

 

Scott's players ere initially set up poorly and allowed the drive and the kick passes if the cc player needed to make that pass. Terrible defensive alignment so they have no one to blame but themselves

Agree 100%, you can't allow a player to drive 3/4 the length of the court like that. Not one of Fromeyer's best coaching jobs.
