Wow. Calloway to Woodland. What a huge loss for Holmes/Nevels. If this speculation is true, it will ill be very interesting to see who follows him - players/coaches - to Scott. And, as always, I'm laying 5-2 that he ultimately he finds his way to a nice home in Ft. Thomas. :popcorn:

I think it prudent for the masses to, since this appears to be past LYF, to focus on the TREMENDOUS work that the current LYF board - led by President Jason Richardson - have done to help the children of Ludlow. Their numbers are increasing every year, their relationship with the schools have benefitted both organizations, and - most importantly - the kids are getting better experiences. Kudos to LYF ... keep up the great work! Ludlow needs you!

Check out the thread regarding upcoming 6th grade football players...Tez - who I thought was in 6th grade, but maybe in 7th according to a poster above - is a remarkable football player as well. Gonna be fun to watch his continued development. HIGHLY recommend taking some time to see this kid play any sport...

The top sixth grader next year will be Calloway who played with Bengal Tigers over the last several years. I'm pretty sure he's going into sixth grade this fall. By far, in my eyes at least, the best player in the NKYFL for the last few seasons. No comparison in terms of speed, athleticism, nose for the end zone...all the things you need to be a dominant, elite game changer in the future.

I'd like to add C/OL Brian Millard. Dear friend of mine who died tragically shortly after graduating from Ryle. One of the first leaders on Ryle's first teams. Great lineman and even better friend... Hope you're resting easy up there big guy...:-(

Maybe I missed this somewhere, but I still haven't seen any confirmed reports that Jihadi John is, in fact, deceased. Note the word "reportedly". Kudos to all involved for moving on these scumbags. One has to wonder, though, is this movement spurring the cells to act in response?

Can't imagine anything worse. Those poor people...no one deserves this. I hope they quickly get to the bottom of this. :(

I applaud Fowler for the years he gave to Owen County. Not an easy job considering location/size/alleged politics. Will be interesting to see who takes the reigns next season.
