Ryle's GOAT team..

Featured Replies

Arguably Ryles best and most talented teams were 2010 & 2006. Both had highly decorated seasons. I would say this years team was talented and underachieved similar to what happened in 2009. Ryle is still a young school but since Warner left a lot of the history has been lost and believe it needs to be restored.

If you had to ask me Ryles best of all time team this is what I'd end up with fellow alum are welcome to comment ppl I miss.

If you don't put Holzapfel in there somewhere, you don't have a Ryle's GOAT team. Add Billy Bresch and Eddie at RB and you are set at RB

I've seen Ryle play every year since their existence and I honestly believe that Deion Mullens is the best all around high school football player they have had. He had a big impact at multiple positions on both sides of the ball.

Hempel and Elliott were a great combo. Tough to top those two.

Definitely underrated and unselfish.

Colin England would have to be top 10 most underachieving player in NKY history.

That's on the coaches, he averaged 8.1 yards a carry yet only carried the ball 69 times this year. Had 3 of the 4 longest runs from scrimmage. But carry wise was less than half of other RB's carries in the area. At last years carry totals the math says he would be close to 1400 yards. How do you not get someone who is averaging 8.1 a touch the ball?
