CCH JV player ended the Championship game with a dunk last year and I think it was ok in that situation. When you know the game is over, generally I think it’s better to dribble it out. JMO

You never know, any given night, you have to play the games, etc... But I got to think CCH likes this draw.

Most thought CCH would win and had reasons. Most of those same folks also think any one of 5-6 teams could win the region including Beechwood. So it’s not that big a surprise and it makes for great district and regional tournaments. Officiating is always a topic and justifiably. You have to win in spite of it. But, why open the door by having such a conflict.

Not familiar. A ref in this game coach’s players in the game? How is that possible ? Even if it didn’t have an impact you can’t have that appearance of impropriety.

Should be a great regional for basketball fans!

Food for thought along those lines after rewatching in a more sterile environment: Only two longer passes by SW, one with DB just let the receiver go on first drive and the TD that was shorter with run after catch and missed tackles The deciding TD was an unforced error when QB bobbled snap and then was too late to pooch. Spurrier was sacked, hit and hurried and force to at least two groundings, so CCH got pressure. The one interception was CCH best punt of the day. SW was turned away multiple times deep in CCH territory. Two of the threee score were off a fumble kickoff and the botched pooch. Yes they took advantage but the offense on a closer look wasn’t as impressive. The d-line was. Definitely hope some more big butts are in the CCH o-line pipeline LOL. SW won it just didn’t look quite as bad the second time I watched. Not great mind you, just even closer. JMO.

I was not shocked SW won, just put odds on CCH. No one defines upset by shock. If number 3 on NCAAF ranking loses to number 10 it referred to as an upset. SW won.....in an upset. Not the biggest upset ever or anything, just an upset. Doesn’t change the size of their ring or anything.

Lots of bad calls but if you don’t want the refs to impact the outcome don’t pooch instead of punt, fumble at the three, fumble the kickoff, throw picks, and repeatedly put yourself in long yardage situations with penalties.

This is the definition of an upset, so yes. And it really doesn’t matter. Candy and nuts...

SW played 2nd half not to lose and almost let CCH take one. Went very conservative with almost none of the passing they were successful with. Eddie never lets up.

Well if CCH doesn’t fumble a kickoff and fumble at the end today..... . Last years CCH wins handily again this year if they played.
