Dixie Heights 7 Ludlow 1
Hats off to Coach Maxwell, his staff, players but especially Griffin Smallwood. He was absolutely sensational tonight. We did everything we could to prepare for his speed and breaking ball. He was just that good tonight. Total class from everyone involved with the Dixie baseball program. Really sad, emotional time with our kids after the game. Saying goodbye to 8 seniors is tough. They worked extremely hard for us and we will miss them dearly.

Open Job: Ludlow
25-30 applicants in the first couple days. Some really good basketball coaches threw their names in the hat. Anxious to see how this all plays out!

Dave Schabell Inducted into Bishop Brossart Hall of Fame
Congratulations Schabs! Well deserved honor for a great man. One of the most honest, self-giving, caring people I have ever met. I have always said every program needs a Dave Schabell. He loves his Mustangs but will call a spade a spade. He just genuinely cares about the kids at Brossart. Congratulations my friend. You deserve it!!

Dixie Heights 49 Ludlow 38 34th District Semi-finals
Good luck to Coach Chevy and the Colonels. Have to say we are very proud of our kids and their effort. We knew we had to keep the game in the 30's or 40's to have a realistic chance of winning the game. Hard to change your whole offense in a short time. Kids executed our game plan pretty well. 33-31 with 3+ minutes to go, we couldn't have asked for a better scenario. This senior class has set the foundation for our younger guys and has so much to be proud of. As a coach you cannot ask for a better group of kids to go to battle with. They worked hard from October 15th to February 24th every single day. It was a honor and privilege to coach on this staff and coach these 15 young men.

Ludlow 69 Villa Madonna 61
Panthers were by Michael Camarena and Kalib Mitchell who both posted double doubles. Villa was led by Thomas Schutzman with 27. Kid was sensational tonight. Panthers move on to play Dixie on Wednesday. Congratulations to Coach Dilts and his team on a fine year! Proud of our kids tonight, played extremely hard and with great effort and enthusiasm!

Ludlow 74 Calvary Christian 56
Very proud of our kids and their efforts. This win does complete the 3rd straight undefeated Conference Championship for the Panthers. This was only one of our goals for the year but one that every player had a part in accomplishing. Our big goal is playing at NKU in the regional tournament. Obviously with losing our leading scorer things will be tougher but our kids will battle and work hard every day to give us a fighting chance. Our seniors have led the way and have left a legacy that others will be expected to carry on.

Ludlow 44 Bellevue 43
Typical Ludlow/Bellevue tough, hard fought game! Really proud of our boys who were hit with some adversity tonight before the game. Senior night was very emotional for all of us. Tigers led by 1 at half and 7 at the end of the third. Our kids picked up their intensity in the 4th and made some huge stops, some huge shots and pulled out the win. Coach Hicks and his staff do such a great job preparing their kids. Good luck to the Tigers the rest of the season. Very clean and respectful game tonight. Both teams played their butts off. This is what makes this rivalry so special. Proud to call our team Division III Conference Champions. Monday we battle Calvary Christian for a chance at an unprecedented undefeated conference record for the 3rd straight year!

Baioni Named 2015 Kentucky Coach of the Year
Congratulations to Coach B and his entire staff. They work extremely hard and truly deserve this award and recognition. I have learned a lot from him over the last few years and I couldn't be happier for him.

Covington Holy Cross 62 Ludlow 55 (9th Region All "A")
First of all congratulations to Coach Schrand and his team for moving on. We are so proud of our Ludlow boys and their effort tonight. We developed a game plan and worked on it for days to give our kids the best chance tonight. They did everything we asked of them and that's all we can do! We preach to play with effort, energy and enthusiasm. Well we did just that tonight. People can say HC didn't play well but our kids had a lot to do with that. The reason Coach Wofford scheduled the Covcaths, Newcaths, Coopers, ryles, conners and north college hills was to be prepared for our district games and the All A. Give us a little credit! Our team deserves that. Our kids played solid defense tonight, took care of the basketball and made some big time plays. Proud to be a Panther everyday but even more so tonight. The tears were real after tonight's game. Our kids believed in the plan, believed in each other but just came up a little short.

Newport Central Catholic 52 Holy Cross 50 (9th Region All A Finals)
Congratulations to Coach George Stoll his assistant coaches and the Breds players. I saw Coach Stoll after the game and he was so proud of his team. Tough, hard earned victory. George is good people and one of the hardest working coaches I have ever met. Congratulations to the Lady Breds and good luck in Frankfort!

Really proud of our boys tonight. Played with energy, effort and enthusiasm all night. Total team effort. Michael Camarena with 21 & 12, Kalib Mitchell with 16 & 5 and Marcus Roark with 12 & 7. Huge Div 3 Conference win!! Best defensive effort of the year!

Best JV coaches in NKY
I agree with Lawnboy, nuff said! Jimmy does an amazing job year in and year out. Your goal as a jv coach is to prepare your players for the next level. Jimmy does a great job getting them all on the floor and preparing them for Varsity. Loves the kids and is one of the most passionate coaches I've ever coached with.

Ludlow 56 Bellevue 48
The panthers jumped out to a 22-5 lead in the first quarter before only holding a 32-22 lead at the half. Little bit of foul trouble and cold shooting in the 2nd & 3rd quarters allowed Bellevue to cut the lead to 3. Panthers were led by Kalib Mitchell with 22pts and 6 assists. Marcus Roark recorded a double double with 14pts and 10 rebounds. Hats off to Coach Hicks, his staff and players, Tigers played well and played extremely hard.

Ludlow 62 Silver Grove 29
Doesn't surprise me at all!

Ludlow 62 Silver Grove 29
A name you wont hear much about is Randy Kuntz from Silver Grove. He is a really nice player and nice young man. He plays his heart out, he just has quite a few young teammates. Fun to watch play and tough to keep in front of you. Also, Coach Wofford does a great job keeping the score down as much as he can.

Ludlow 63 Dayton 41
Panthers were led in scoring by Kalib Mitchell with 22 and Marcus Roark with 21. Good defensive effort! Hopefully our tough schedule will keep paying dividends!!

Covington Catholic 81 Ludlow 45
Great atmosphere tonight at Covcath. It was great to be part of Max Bishop night. Everyone involved in the festivities should be commended for a job well done! All of our Panther players and coaches want to wish Max a speedy recovery. We were very proud of our effort tonight. Obviously we were outmanned but our kids fought hard to the end. We will get better as a team because of this game.

Ludlow's Evan Slone Commits
So happy for Evan and his family. Kid works his tail off everyday for us. He is a leader both on and off the field. AB is getting a great kid, baseball player and most importantly a great student. Very proud Coach to say the least!!

Ludlow/Bellevue Predictions
I know a lot of people who will "go to this game." What an arrogant ignorant statement. Ludlow has an incredible atmosphere on Friday nights. Bellevue game is always a big game and great rivalry. These kids play with a ton of heart and desire and the games are always exciting to watch. Good Luck to Coach McMillen (great guy) and his Tigers but I expect the Panthers to win this game and host a home playoff game for the first time in many years. PANTHER PRIDE!!!!
-
Ludlow 61 Trimble County 12
Panthers dominated this game in every phase. Justin Blackburn once again put up huge numbers both running and passing. Tons of flags in this game on both teams and too much mouthing. Kids need to learn to play the game and keep their mouths shut. Panthers are now 4-1 with defending state runner up Williamsburg making the trip to Ludlow next Friday night. Come out and support these kids next week. They deserve it!

Bishop Brossart 24 Bellevue 21
