Congrats to the Colonels on the W, who advance to play St. Henry in the District Championship this Friday. Dixie was led by guard Hunter Meyer with 14 points!

Good luck to Coach Chevy and the Colonels. Have to say we are very proud of our kids and their effort. We knew we had to keep the game in the 30's or 40's to have a realistic chance of winning the game. Hard to change your whole offense in a short time. Kids executed our game plan pretty well. 33-31 with 3+ minutes to go, we couldn't have asked for a better scenario. This senior class has set the foundation for our younger guys and has so much to be proud of. As a coach you cannot ask for a better group of kids to go to battle with. They worked hard from October 15th to February 24th every single day. It was a honor and privilege to coach on this staff and coach these 15 young men.

Can anyone tell me what happened to the Schulte kid at Dixie? I know he was on the roster earlier in the year, but have not seen his name in the scoring column for quite some time.

Congrats to the Dixie team on the W! Best of luck against St Henry tomorrow.

Also, congratulations to the Ludlow Panthers for a very good year and a great game last night.

Does he play baseball?

Does he play baseball?

I do not know if he is trying out this year or not. I believe state rules say that even though he is no longer on the basketball team he cannot try out until their season is over.

Unless it is a new rule, I've never heard of it. A lot of schools have it as a rule as well it should be a rule. Those who quit shouldn't be able to participate in any sports activity until the season is over of the sport they quit. Helps put a damper on coaches tampering with kids to specialize.

Maybe it's a school rule, I'm not sure. Just thought I had heard it.
