Henderson wins this game, they have been in every game except one and played some very good teams, plus it's at home.

Prolly a good decision by Shane, his future would be in baseball although he was a very good quarterback. It will hurt the Tigers because the backup never got the chance to throw the ball much. His inexperience might hurt for while but he will be able to lead the team and is a junior this coming year and has been in the system and knows the offense.

Good game today for Scott County it gets tougher next game, McCracken County will be favored to win it all. Congratulations to Caldwell County in the game til late, two tough opening games in two years.

Congrats to Mayfield, second half adjustments were some of it and Caldwell County's typical second half meltdown at Mayfield added to it. Mayfield knows how to win and makes very few mistakes. I don't see any team beating Mayfield in 2A, too much tradition and great coaching too. Caldwell County has to learn how to play two halves and try to put this game behind them.

It's gonna be hard to beat Mayfield at Mayfield, it will be hard to judge anything from this game as far as Caldwell is concerned. I would say Mayfield will be state champs and Caldwell will be a tough out in the 3A playoff. Mayfield could win big or it could be a close game, nothing would surprise me, usually at Mayfield it's not that close. I hope it will be a good close game.

The Tigers are rolling, Fort Campbell is playing better lately but the Tigers are hitting stride, It's never easy winning on base but Caldwell will make it 6 in a row.

If the rumor about high school kids doing it is true, it is getting ready to get out of hand, none of them have been alive long enough to know whats going on, much less what they are protesting for. When the prayers went out of schools, the guns came in. We are not going to have many rights before long. I remember as a kid the communists said they would take America without firing a shot, by doing it through influencing through the minds of the youth, Sad world we live in today.

No Problem Colonel, Jim Pickens could be added to Caldwell's list because he coached at Bowling Green, he was a 1945 graduate of Butler High school in Princeton, which became Caldwell County in 1954 or 55.

ATLCat, that's what I would call it, they are very good at it, some hard to understand decisions on offense and too predictable, between UK and Caldwell County over the years you would think things would change as far as losing in the last minutes or last plays of the game, way too many through the years, it will give you a heart attack. They had control of that game and basically give it away, they can't win the close ones.

I have never seen a team self destruct like Caldwell County did tonight, had complete control of the game and led the whole game and give up two touchdowns and a field goal in the last 7 minutes to lose with 3 seconds left. Hats off to the Tiger defense, they played great, the offense is a work in progress, they couldn't gain a yard when they needed it, too predictable.

Fast, based on what we saw Franklin Simpson won the game, which was the first half, the should have, would have, and could have applies to your statement too about the two opportunities for passing when he decided to run. As for dominating the game, the score would have to be much more than it was for that to be an accurate statement. The way the last 7 minutes of the first half went I could say Caldwell would have shut down the run in the second half and won the game. Franklin Simpson would have had to pass to win the game, something I'm not sure they could have done. I to wish they could have settled it with a complete game.

The score could have easily been tied at halftime, Caldwell was ruled down on the 1 foot line on the last play of the first half on a long pass and had the momentum going in to half. The Tigers also were to get the ball first in the second half, so we don't know what would have happened in the game, as it stands Franklin Simpson gets the win based on the first half.

It should be a close game, I'm going with Caldwell County because they were still in the game late against County, even out gaining them in yards until two costly mistakes in the fourth quarter took them out of it. That along with the fact that Caldwell's best back didn't play in that game and the Tigers still gave the Colonels all they wanted bodes well and being at home is an advantage.

The game was closer than the score indicates, Caldwell made to many mistakes and gave up to many big plays against a team as talented as county. Langhi was spot on and the receivers were hard to handle.

Spin, I wouldn't base everything on a scrimmage game score, both teams were trying to find out their weakness and who can play, Caldwell moved the ball well when on offense and both teams ran mostly vanilla offenses. County will be a big challenge for any 3a team, but Caldwell will compete and I expect the game to be close.
