Christian Co.

Kolbe Langhi (26-of-43, 354 yds, 3 TD),

Keyron Catlett (8 rec, 117 yds, TD)

Ja'Quon Long (6 rec, 112 yds, 2 TD)

Caldwell County

Shane Burns (26-of-39, 276 yds ,3 TD)

Zach Gaither (14 rec, 148 yards, TD)

Good ball game, better than score indicates, I felt Caldwell represented 3 A very well, they will be hard to handle in their class.

Caldwell had its chances, even with Javonte Riley not playing, but Christian just has so much speed.

I don't think Caldwell will see anyone else all year with that much team speed. Christian is a little undisciplined at times, but they can sure run the athletes at you.

Nvm.

btw...I got those stats from Chris Jung. Forgot to attribute them to him. He does such a great job covering H.S. sports down here in WKy. If you have a twitter account, I would suggest following him. One of the best in the state.

The game was closer than the score indicates, Caldwell made to many mistakes and gave up to many big plays against a team as talented as county. Langhi was spot on and the receivers were hard to handle.

Congratulations to Christian County!

Big win as this was no easy team to play first game.

Caldwell, it probably hurt on the ride home, but know it will help you later in the year for what really matters and that's winning the district and advancing in the playoffs. Not many 3A clubs can throw the ball or has the athletes that Christian County does.

Caldwell is going to be a handful for the rest of the year. Very well coached and have about 5/6 kids who can really play. Both of their QB's are good. Next week vs Franklin Will be a classic.
