The 325 rushing yards you hear are against the starting defense and yes it is a correct number. The 424 or whatever, lets say its 500 yds rushing includes a lot of second halves where the starting defense was out of the game. Anyway you slice it, 500 yds rushing over 13 games is 38 yds a game. Let's say SC doubles that and goes for 80. Still a far cry from the 300 that was stated on an earlier post. This game will come down to who takes care of the ball. SC has some big play ability as does SW and either team is dangerous with a short field. #44 is a beast no doubt. Is he the best SW has seen the last two years? We will find out Friday night. I'm taking SW 28-13. It will be close in the first half.

And I've got some ocean front property to see you here in KY. Let's be realistic here. The SW starting D has given up 325 yds rushing this year in 13 games but you believe by some miracle SC is going to go for 300?? Do they have Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch in the backfield? I'm not saying SC won't be able to run the ball at all but to suggest they they have a better running game than all the previous teams combined is absurd.

Tommy, comparing the SW run defense to John Hardins is like comparing apples to steaks. They aren't even on the same planet, maybe not in the same solar system. If you beat SW running the ball I'll get on here and eat crow. If SW doesn't take care of the ball and gives SC short field situations then I can see SC putting some points up but I can promise you they won't be able to put together long sustained drives running the ball on SW.

Who has seen both teams play and what do you think about this game? John Hardin is their common opponent. I've seen SW and know how good they are but haven't seen Shelby.

SW wins 35-7. Will be close in the first half. Maybe 14-0 SW but they will pull away in the 2nd half. Key to an early route will be how their special teams play. Last week was the first time in a while they didn't have a punt block that I can remember.

Etown up 20-0 in the 2nd

If you think Etown only has 2 or 3 kids with speed then you haven't watched them play. Cecil isn't the only weapon. Teams that have tried to focus on him have found out that Cates, Sullivan, Becherer can all hurt you out of the backfield along with Payne and Sullivan in the pass game.

BG better not overlook Owensboro on their way there.

SW would host the game vs JH in the semis

I think is going to be very tough for JH to get there considering their road. They will likely have to go through Franklin, Spencer and Shelby. I'm gonna say South Warren vs Shelby Johnson Central vs Mercer SW beats JC for title

Did you happen to see the 1st game between SW and JH? John has gotten better but not 31 pts better and they don't have the O line to compete with the SW defense.

Starters still in for SW or was that TD scored on JV?

They better be able to air it out. If they are a running team they have no shot.

John Hardin has a murderers row of Franklin, Spencer and Shelby. I ultimately think Shelby comes out of that to face SW in Semi state. Think it will be SW vs JC in the finals.

No one is scared to play you but keep telling yourself that. Pretty sad that a school of BGs history is so concerned about playing a school that has been in existence for 6 yrs. If you think SW and BG not playing this year was the result of SW not wanting to then ur misinformed

Coach in the Red Visor was holding Cecil down on the ground when the brawl happened and yes, Cecil was hit twice late. The issue the Etown Coach had was with an Adair coach not a player and it was in reference red visor guy. That coach knew he did something wrong because he didn't even shake hands on the same side as the coaches. In my opinion it's ridiculous to have all the parents on the field during a post game talk anyways. Just asking for problems especially when you lose
