  1. You don't have sour grapes but you get on here and post this crap? You could have had 2 of those quarterbacks healthy and wouldn't have won that game. Your defense still gave up 36 pts. SW got screwed last year on s terrible safety call. Everyone in the state knows that. They had a sour taste because they had a chance to win at the end and didn't. Not because of anything PT did. They played hard and won the game. Simply put, PT got handled on both sides of the ball. Your just another hater crying the 5a crap. They are 3a per the KHSAA and will be 4a next year. They are a 5 yr old program who just won their first football region championship. How bout you give a little credit?
  2. You can't root for them because they are a 5 yr old school who has been "allowed" to play down? Like the kids or coaches somehow convinced the khsaa of which class to put them in.. Or is it that they have beat the breaks off your team for 2 yrs in a row. Didn't seem to bother you a few years ago when you were beating them by 40 when they were 2 yrs into a varsity program. The kids and coaches in that program work their rear ends off day in and day out as I am sure your program does. Tired of the 5a playing in 3a crap. They play the schedule in front of them and have done pretty well.
  3. What exactly was classless? Were there a couple of personal fouls on SW? Yes. But let's not act like kids were throwing punches or anything like that. They were penalties for late hits out of bounds which were close and could have been no calls. The one on Monroes QB shouldnt have even been a penalty. He jumped into the hit which made it look worse. The white hat wasn't even going to throw the flag until the sideline reacted. The "onside" kick happened in the first half and it wasn't an onside, it was a pooch kick that went to the second level of your return team and the Monroe player didn't come up with the ball. Last I checked it wasnt the responsibility of the other team to keep your team in the game. If you don't like the score, get better. SW put their JV offense and defense in a large portion of the second half and Monroe didn't. Is that classless too? I'm glad the Arnette kid is ok. I never want to see a kid get hurt.
  4. It was miserably cold there last year. I went and it sucked...lol. Is this for Seniors only I'm guessing?
  5. Honestly one of the worst calls I've personally seen and it was worse on film.
  6. Haven't seen those freight trains yet! SW completely dominate in the 2nd half. Up 35-6 in the 3rd and Adairs potent offense has been shut down. Only score by the Indians has been by the defense! Spartans score again to get the running clock in the 3rd qtr. Up 42-6
  7. You are delusional my friend. Adair will be shown what it is like to play against a quality opponent. Easy to look great when you are beating up the likes of Caverna and Breck Co. SW hasn't had the toughest schedule but they put it on Warren East who has a D1 RB/LB and every other team they have played. Last week again Daviess Co was the closest game they had and weather was a huge factor. If normal weather conditions were going to happen tonight I'd say SW 35-14. Since it will be a mud bowl I'm going SW 24-7. Hope you come back to eat some crow after this. Adair county is the most under rated team in ADAIR CO.!
  8. I've said to friends on many occasions that coaching on Ft. Knox has to be one of the hardest jobs out there. Coaches and kids never know from one year or sometimes even 1 month to the next if they are going to be there. With all the cut backs on post, schools closing etc.., it's getting even harder. Awfully hard to build for the future when you are starting over every year. As CK has said, this isn't the same Ft. Knox from the 80s and early 90s. I feel bad for the kids and the coaches that want to be there. I just hope that if they do shut the program down, they give those kids, especially the seniors the option of attending school and playing somewhere off post.
  9. Although Knox had 33 kids on the roster that was at the beginning of the season. They only had 15 kids available for the game against Desales. The coach got a call from a parent on Friday saying they were taking their 2 sons, along with another player and leaving for fall break. That put them at 12. There is no JV to pull from. Word in the area is that Ft. Knox will not field a team next year. Truly sad.
  10. Yes, it was expected. John is very young but they have a tremendous amount of talent coming up the next couple of years. Their HC new that this would be the year where teams would be able take their shots at them. The talent pool they have coming up coupled with a move to 4A and Highlands moving out of 4A in 2015 should make for some very good seasons in the upcoming years at JH.
  11. Xavier Arnette from Central Hardin needs to be on that list. He rushed for 160 yds and a TD last week and was around 90 yds and i believe 1 td in the first week.
  12. Look out for Xavier Arnette at 6A Central Hardin. He is an absolute beast, Junior, 198 lbs, 6ft tall. He didn't have the yardage Cecil did last year but Central used other options as well. If you see him play live you will know what I'm talking about. In the Collins game which they won, he took over in the 2nd half. Got better as the game went on. He's a legit D1 player. With Central having a new coach and moving to the wing t I think you will see Arnette's numbers go up. Good that we have these two in our area.
  13. It will be interesting to see who all ends up in the backfield under Brown in his Wing T system. Obviously if Cecil is back on the field he is one but due to the single back system we saw the last couple of years other options are really unknown. Washington is the only other player who had any significant carries last year and he was a senior. Hunter Sullivan is a heck of an athlete and took over for Wilson at the QB spot about midway through last season. I could see Sullivan moving to RB in the new system with Wilson going back to QB. Wouldn't be surprised to see Coolidge slide in there somewhere as well. He's a good athlete and will be a sophomore next season. They will have a senior led offensive line who struggled at times last year but should be much improved under Brown.
  14. I'm almost 100% positive his bday is October of 1996 which would put him turning 18 this upcoming season as a junior.
  15. This is actually incorrect. He has an October Birthday. He will turn 19 in October of his senior year.
