He looked like he was Banged up Vs Paris. Limping a little bit.

The kid does it all for his team. It's hard not to get banged up just playing defense the way he does. It's hard telling how many hits he's taken this season.

I have multiple people reporting to me that Kash had a MRI.

 

Hopefully he is okay.

I spoke with a close friend that lives in Paintsville. From what I was told, Kash did in fact have a MRI on his knee. Initial report was a potential ACL injury. Truly hope this is not the case, he is a tremendous player with a bright future ahead of himself at UK.

Sure hope he's ok . This young man is a tremendous player and has a great career in front of him. Just hope players from both Paintsville and Pikeville are at 100%, and go head to head.

Kash will be good. He's a tuff kid. He took a few hard low shots to the knees in the Paris game. That's the good thing about having a week in between games and that these young men heal quickly from bumps and bruises. Whoever at this point it has been a LONG season!! Typically what hurts on Friday night is good by Tuesday practice. Allot of low hits last Friday on a wet field suprised a few of them wasn't hurt bad. Ready for this battle on Friday night! It's gonna be one to remember!!!

ACL is no joke. So the question is should he shut it down and get ready/ rehab the knee so he can be ready for UK? Or assuming he is not 100% and play this Friday night and chance on furthering injuring it?

I had someone contact me today and tell me the MRI was negative for any damage and it is game on Friday night for Kash.

Me too but most reports coming out of Paintsville are that everyone there is being very guarded with the information they give out. In other words, we can't be sure the latest (he is okay report) is accurate.

Just adding to this, I got a confirmation of the MRI being negative from another solid source.

 

So good news I believe.

Certainly hope he's ok and hoping for a Paintsville win on Friday so I can see this young man play in person in the state championship.

Just got a third confirmation from a highly credible source. I think Kash is good to go.
