Me too - he is already a great coach doesn’t need to do anything to add to what he’s already done, but he and the staff may get Apollo in uncharted waters during these playoffs and take them to new highs. I hope they win!

I watched some of the BG vs Greenwood game (1st quarter).. Gators have a good defense and are physical and athletic. They run that same offense they had with the Howard kid played a few years ago. Ball control and they are pretty physical up front. They will be a tough out for anyone. Going to be a good game.

Greenwood’s defense seems really good, are they as good as Owensboro’s defense - if so MNH will have a tough time. Owensboro’s offense is so potent, MNH was overwhelmed and that probably played into them not playing well offensively vs. O. Greenwood doesn’t pose that from an offensive standpoint and MNH will be in the game. Again, I won’t be surprised either way, but I do think it’s a low scoring game whoever wins.

Badger out? Ouch…Milburn? Is that part of why they lost to DC? Badger is really good and Milburn no slouch. What Apollo team shows up? IF no Badger, that makes it hard.

This guy is a load - listed at 6-4 275, and has done a great job. Switched game 3 or 4 from Tackle to Right Guard and plays DT. O has had some really good O-lineman in the past 10-12 years (Lucas Williams, Vasaad Greer, Trey Miller, Tripp Grenier, Tinsley bros., Justin Millay, Diebel, Jak Lindsay, many others), but I would put Muster at the top with the best of them. He never quits blocking until the whistle blows, very athletic, mobile and plenty of strength.

@jeff jackson I agree - they are very athletic (Atherton) and talented. I think Atherton/BG will tell us a lot. That said, I think Cooper beats Pulaski (even at Pulaski) and if that is the case, Atherton will go to Woodford. Scott County may have something to say about that though! There are scenarios where Atherton plays at Owensboro. There are so many good games round 2 and round 3 - I think Atherton has a chance to be playing for the Championship, but they do have something to still prove to get there. Definitely a good looking Atherton team though.

Their QB is 69 for 118 for 865 yards and 4 TD’s on the year -with 10 Interceptions. This sounds like a Graves vs MNH matchup. Graves’ run defense is really good. I think it he winner will get about 20 points.

CH uncharacteristically bad this year - I look for a bounce back next year - too good a program. Mustangs by 21.

Hendo has some big boys and some athletes. They are always physical and should win this one comfortably.

I think Cooper is one of the 3 best teams in the state with Owensboro and Woodford. It remains to be seen who is the best, but Cooper wins this one comfortably - O’Hara has been here and is a cool customer but the great back they have Maher I believe. Cooper running clock. Can’t wait to see round 2, tough round 2 matchup coming for both teams. Good luck Cooper!

True - but Apollo just outscored them with a solid offensive effort - North had 500 yards offense that game and scored 40, not sure Greenwood has that firepower that Apollo has to light them up. But they obviously have a solid D. Only Owensboro D has held MNH to anything but a fluke play TD. Greenwood is tough, but I believe Greenwood will struggle somewhat to get TD’s. I won’t be surprised if either way, but if MNH has already folded up the tent, Gwood will win by 2 TD’s. North is a prideful program and I’ve never seen them lay down in the playoffs.
