  1. Watch the game - I don’t think he was talking about the refs.
  2. He’s the best player I’ve seen this year and he opens everything up for O. 4.42 40 yard insane speed, he’s shot out of a cannon. He’s a phenomenal WR too, wish we would line him up more there.
  3. The Beechwood QB throws a nice ball per that video @DevilMayCare
  4. That’s too low - I doubt there are 107 better.
  5. I recant my previous complaints - it’s not Boyles fault the ref blew the whistle. Outstanding teams both of you. Haddix a phenomenal coach as is Corbin’s!
  6. Savage is a monster LB and RB!! Anyone would love to have Jacob Savage on their team. Heavily recruited kid too - good luck to him at IU. I am sure he will be successful!
  7. I respect that from a fellow BG fan (I was a fan for 2 weeks during the coaching search).
  8. First offensive play of game against WOFO - Hampton to the house with Rash homestand in background:
  9. Pulaski is a great team no doubt, maybe these are the top 2 and RPI is actually pretty good! O has faced many big line teams - CAL and X were able to do what they wanted for the most part, couple that with a new coach who had only been in Owensboro a couple months, a new QB (first ever start) and our guys were lost and you get the shellacking. Get those games later in the season, we perform much better. Other big lines OCath (which Beechwood just got a taste of). And OC was missing their 6-8 275lb tackle in the Beechwood game, Hendo, Greenwood, Madisonville, DC. All much bigger lines than us. I think Pulaski CAN move the ball some. Can they do it all night? Can they stop Owensboro’s offense? If Owensboro forces 3 to 4 punts on the night, I think O wins 2-4 TD’s. If Pulaski gets behind 14, what is the strategy? Stick to the guns I would guess. I DO think these are the best 2 teams. If you’ve tracked my takes, I’ve always thought O was in the top 2-3. Cooper had beaten Ryle, but Scott County plasters them, Atherton plasters a down BG team, Wofo solidly beats Scott County, Pulaski shuts down Atherton, but Owensboro DESTROYS Wofo. Big huge lines on both sides for WOFO. They did move the ball some but no points. Either Pulaski and O are really close or Owensboro is far and away the top 5A team. I’m inclined to think Pulaski is right there with O after last week. Looking forward to a good game. I will add that I think Pulaski will run play clock to near zero each play, and that is smart. While O may not get as many points this game due to number of possessions. I still think they score 4 TD’s. If Pulaski gets down 21 and has to play fast, then O will score 40+.
  10. Official Stats Total Yardage Owensboro 458. Woodford County 224 Owensboro passing 176 yards and was 6 for 9 3 TD’s and 1 INT (G’way was 6 of 7 for 176 and 3 TD’s - Sophomore QB had the INT at the end for a pick six) Owensboro Rushing was 12 carries for 282 yards - led by Hampton who was 8 for 266 yards and 3 TD’s, 33.25 yards per carry(8 FREAKIN CARRIES!!!) - also had 51 of the receiving yards and another TD. Hampton on 9 touches had 317 yards and 4 Touchdowns. Wofo had 146 rushing yards and 78 passing, with 2 interceptions (Shemwell took one 103 yards for a TD pick 6). Wofo offense with zero points. Kobe PUllom led Devils D with 14 tackles 1 for loss, Eli Hampton and Ty Ashley both had 10 tackles. Ashley also had another interception. O had 155 in interception return yards with Shemwelll and Ashley. O never attempted a punt. It looks like O ran 21 total offensive plays (Varsity ran 17 plays)- 9 pass and 12 rushing - for 42 of the total 49 points. 17 Varsity plays ran the entire game for O which resulted in 42 points (as defense got 6 of the points) - 6 TD’s in 17 plays.
  11. Yes but unforgivable . Boyle gets a gift they should be out. I personally couldn’t in good conscience go after an official to get them to give me the ball there.
  12. Corbin should be in championship game - that’s a steal there.
  13. Dennis Johnson quote in Herald Leader - “Their running back’s an animal. And they made plays. I thought their defense was good. I didn’t know they were that good.”
  14. Herald Leader story and quote from Dennis Johnson - coach of Woodford. “Their Running Back is an animal”
  15. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/14365438/692b0f233f11789fee4ce0fc Hampton Vs Woodford 8 carries for 265 and 3 TD’s 1 reception for 51 yards and 1 TD

  17. 9 touches for 316 yards and 4 TD’s - came just short of finishing off another for a TD too. MR Football.
  18. Congrats @Subway5024 - all OHS fans that I know are also OCath fans on Friday! Great win to you guys! Let’s both win it all now.
  19. Hampton with 265 yards and 3 TD’s on 8 carries against Woodford. 1 catch for 51 and 1 TD. Huge statement yet for MR FOOTBALL. On season that’s 162 carries for 1,925 yards (11.7 YPC) and 28 TD’s (A NEW OWENSBORO HIGH RECORD passing Maurice White with 26) and 18 catches for 280 yards and 3 TD’s receiving. That’s 2,205 all purpose on season and 31 TD’s. Hampton crushed the #1 team in state in Wofo. The 1,925 yards rushing this season are 3rd all-time at Owensboro behind Mark Higgs in 1982 and 1983. The 11.7 YPC are also 3rd all time for a red devil behind Justin Miller and Imonte Owsley. Career stats are 506 carries for 5,201 yards and 79 TD’s (A NEW OWENSBORO HIGH RECORD). 10.3 yards per carry for his Career. 77 catches for 914 yards and 9 td’s receiving. Total Touches Career - 583 touches for 6,117 yards and 90 TD’s(most likely an Owensboro High Record). 10.5 yards a touch. Records: 1st in Career Rushing TD’s at Owensboro for Career with 79 1st in rushing TD’s at Owensboro in a season at 28 1st in rushing yards in a game at Owensboro with 326 yards 2nd most all time rushing yards with 5,201 (behind only Mark Higgs) Hampton has 274 less career carries than Higgs. 3rd in season rushing YPC with 11.7 YPC 3rd most rushing yards in a season behind only Mark Higgs final 2 seasons

  21. Hampton unofficially with 8 carries for 265 and 3 TD’s with another 51 yard reception for a TD.
  22. Hampton had 225 yards all purpose at one point on limited touches and 4 TDs
