If you take away their 3 big plays which made up 180 yards of offense, we only gave up 102 yards - pretty stout defense. And we would have won 17-0.

Cooper doesn’t really have a big win. They were beaten soundly last year by Scott County (444 yards rushing) - all of that 3 headed monster is back. ScottCounty at home. I don’t think it’s close. Scott county 42-21

Any Owensboro team the last 4 years , I would roll with them here -especially at Rash. This just happens to be-a big rebuild and the defense is the worst I’ve seen in years for O. Offense is good and they’ve played good against better competition. Lost to Catholic with 10 seconds left. Had 2 TDS called back against CAL in a 28-14 loss really controlled 2nd half. Has played better since a terrible effort against Madisonville. O has a weak secondary and absolutely no pass rush. We’ve been spoiled with Goodwin off the edge and a very tight secondary the last few years. There is no Goodwin, and a porous secondary. I see a 35-21 game.

Make a NIT tourney of the 4 seeds and below -

Track and Field. In Region 1 3A they have been 2nd, 1st and 2nd in the past 3 meets. They were 3rd in 3A at state 2 years ago with one of the best runners in the USA on their team. To an extent not reflective to football, they were 5th and 6th in golf state the last 2 years. Girls teams are very good too - track and bball (which I get is totally unrelated to football). But they do have good athletic programs at the school. To add a little clarity to their track and field prowess, Class 3A is the biggest schools in the state. Region 1 is Owensboro, Graves, Henderson, Marshall, Madisonville, Apollo, Davies’s, Hopkinsville, Christian County, Muhlenburg County, and. McCracken. That is a very solid track and field region.

Marshall way to big of a school with way too many athletes to not be very good in football.

Not eligible for the next year playoffs.

Yes - Taylor has a phenomenal RB and some other D1 talent.
