I was just comparing Ethan Snapp (Player A), and Jake Ohmer (Player B). I think both are studs, and top five players in NKY. Just a lot of talk and love for Snapp, and none really for Ohmer.

Both players can fill it up, and both have unlimited range. They both could guard the 1 or 2 man, and I would say both can knock down crucial free throws, and even shots when needed. Player A is a Senior this year Player B is a Junior

Confirmed that she is the boy's freshman head coach at Holy Cross, where her son now attends. She's tried bringing in some big name player's, and their brother's from the 9th/10th region, only to swing and miss on those kids staying at their current schools. She did get one, Ty Houston who went to Woodland (Scott HS feeder) but his parents have strong ties to Holy Cross I believe. Don't know if I was a coach if I'd want her associated with my program.

Yes. If Scott wins, they will win the district. Likewise for Bourbon Co, if they win they win the district as well. Winner will get home field advantage for the first three rounds of the playoffs if they keep advancing.

It very well could be a torn ACL, but he will not know that till next Wednesday at the earliest. It is confirmed that he has a sprained MCL, and meniscus. Pig said he went up for a reverse layup, and landed awkwardly. He didn't feel a pop, but did feel discomfort and swelling. This kid has overcome a lot in his life, and hopefully this is just a minor set back and he'll be able to finish out his career at Mason Co healthy.

I agree, especially with MoCo. But would you call them a sleeper? I have them at pre season #2 behind Campbell Co. They return a lot of starters, and have some good height, especially with the return of Jones.

Mason Co basically played an extra game in the '04 state tournament. They beat Scott County in the elite 8 in overtime on Friday, triple overtime game against Trinity Saturday morning, and then a tremendous Warren Central team for the championship Saturday night. With the new format, which would have led to extra rest, and Wes Jones I think Mason Co becomes only the 7th team ever to win back to back. Regardless though, that Mason Co team from '03-'04 may be one of the top all time teams to play in the state.

TBC finished 6-1 at Big Shots Myrtle Beach (SC) tournament. They went 2-1 in session I losing to Gardner Road in final four, followed by going 4-0 in session II. They beat Carolina Flyers (NC) in a come from behind win on a last second free throw in OT of semi finals game, and then beat Tampa Bay Knights 73-62 in the championship game. Austin Crawford (2017) was named tournament MVP, and Blake Smith (2016) was named to the all tournament team.

TBC went 2-1 at Myrtle Beach session I, losing to Gardner Road in the final four of championship bracket play 72-64. They'll start session II play tomorrow morning.
