I have heard he was in the running for two college jobs, and wouldn't apply for a job like Scott until he heard no from other possibilities. Just what I've heard though. Good ole hear say makes this thread and forum go round and round though :jump:

Scott can't fill the position till 30 days after they posted the job, so May 9th at the earliest. They can interview during that time period, but nothing else. Does Scott have any history positions open which Bezelod teaches? Or will they hire him to coach only, and he continue to teach at Holmes?

Have heard Bezold doesn't want to coach high school basketball. Don't know if that's true or not. Certainly true that Trames had a direct connection in getting Coach Brad Carr fired (resigned) with the recording of a halftime speech at Christmas that wasn't turned in till two weeks after the season was over. Certainly fishy how all that went down. Guess that's the beast of how high school sports are now and kids are these days. Maybe that's the reason why society has been on a downward spiral as of late..

If some D3 school gets this kid they're getting an absolute steal! Seen Crawford play many of times. He can certainly play at the NAIA level, or high D2 level without question.

Believe they played together a few years ago on the AAU circuit with TBC Elite as rising sophomores. Had Wilson, Pig, McGovney, Pulliam and some others from the 10th (and other parts of the state) with them.

From Northern Kentucky its 1 hour and 42 minutes, 111 miles one way to Montgomery Co. So yeah, somewhere in the region is close to two hours away, especially if a team is traveling by bus. When you don't get off work till 4:30/5 how can you make it there for both games? Especially on a weeknight? The Fieldhouse is the most central location for all teams. Whether teams traveling, or fans it's less of a hassle and more convent.

Disagree. Been to every region tournament since 96, but 3. 2/3 were when it's been held at Montgomery Co, the other at NKU. Hard to make a 6PM start game from almost two hours away.

Yes. Every 5 years I believe? Scheduled to be at CCMS until 2016. Will the AD's ever vote to rotate it? I know the 38th district has done that, and the 39th goes between Bracken Co and Mason Co.

In the last 11 years, Coach Carr has led the Eagles to 10 out of the past 11 regional tournaments. That is incredible with how tough the 37th district has been over those years. Believe the only year they missed was a few years ago when they lost in the 1st round of district to Campbell Co by 3 who went on to win region.

Give me Carson Williams, Ben Weyer, or Mason Faulkner.

I would go off of how good a team would be WITHOUT their top player. Based off of that you would have to have, Williams, Wilson, A. Crawford, J. Crawford, and J.Ohmer somewhere in your top five. I've always said that the 10th region produces some high quality players year in and year out. This year being no different.

BBA officiating has gone straight down hill from where it use to be. At least the volleyball line wasn't called out of bounds tonight..

Chad Ohmer had his first varsity point, and ended up with 15 I believe? Man does that family have some good genes.

Where's all the commotion on this score from BGP, and the twitter universe?? - These scores will continue to happen, it's just a fact of life. Kudos to the young man at Piarist who play the game because they love it, and continue to stick with it. It will help them be successful long after the ball stops bouncing for them.

Haven't seen him up close this season, but he may have grown an inch or two. He was at 5'11 last season. Easily could be 6'0 this year.

What about Clark giving up 100, and Pendleton County giving up 92? Doesn't look as though Scott is the only team giving up a lot of points. Every team should practice free throw shooting heavily. From the early season trend there's going to be a ton of free throws shot with all the whistles being blown. This could affect the scores being higher this season as well

The T on Williams was horendous. Williams and Fries use to be AAU teammates for a few years, and spent time before the game talking in the stands for a long time. Williams got fouled by Fries, turned and tossed the ball to the ref. Fries walked straight into line with the ball and it hit him on the side of the head. Ref immediately called a technical, which was Williams 5th foul as well. If it was intentional I think tempers would have flared, but even Fries looked confused on what had just happened, and why Williams had been T'd up.

And maybe in the state. Extremely underrated

Incorrect. Jantzen Dudley (Senior) is the player who is now at Augusta as a transfer waiting to be ruled eligible. Jamison is his younger brother.
