I was wondering about this myself. Hopefully someone can give us some insight as to dates times and opponents.

Both teams played well. I actually think Apollo outplayed Hoptown but came up just shy. Eli Wright made a 3 to tie with 8 srconds left that was clutch. It's a shame anyone had to lose this game.

No crazy ending. Go to TMC sports and watch it for yourselves also pay close attention to the Daviess County announcers comments about the good friends officiating as the game began. I was 3 feet from the play and didn't see it quite the same way as mountaineer man. I don't think he dribbled it out of bounds. The Daviess County kid was forcing him to the sideline with a forearm all the way. Its either a foul on DC or a play on. You don't get those calls on the opponents home court though. Just my opinion.

I understand they traveled a lot of miles and they were tired but lets also give the Muhlenburg County kids their props. They came to play and showed amazing determination in coming back from 9 down with 6 minutes to play against one of the better teams in the state. Yes Knott County Central was tired but the mustangs played inspired basketball.

I can agree on the shoving but it was simmons that was shoved. I was sitting3 feet from the play and it's either a fpilton Daviess or play on. Very questionable if he dribbled on the line but when the game was called by 3 3rd region referrers that even the Daviess County announcers on TMC sports admitted on the air to being great friends with were making the calls its tough to beat them. I agree though it wasn't that one call that beat them. Shouldn't have been in that position anyway. I can't wait until they play again at Henderson in 3 weeks betting on a lot different outcome.

Henderson lost to Daviess County by 2 on a questionable out of bounds call as Simmons made a half court three with .3 left on their home court. They are a hot team right now. I would say top 3 for sure. Certainly in the conversation.

Henderson County came out after getting dominated in the first half and punched back. They picked themselves up and hit Trinity in the mouth and surprised everyone.

December rankings mean absolutely nothing. It all boils down to these games will prepare Henderson County to play against Hopkinsville in the regional. It's a process and wins are great but losses don't end your season right now.

The difference in that game was DJ Washington's ability to break the press. I am a huge fan of Henderson County and all 2nd region teams DJ Washington cant get in foul trouble.

Great win for DC. Henderson just couldn't finish tonight. When you get a team down you have to put them away. Henderson has to get tougher mentally and get that knock em out mentality. Hats off to the Daviess County team for fighting hard all night.
