Mason wins by how many they want to win by. I'd say the starters will be pulled early in the second half and this will be in a running clock by the 2nd quarter. Unless the running clock rule doesn't take effect until the second half :idunno: Coach Cox will get his bench players ample time on the floor tonight.

Because everyone is POed at Bracken this season for not playing the teams that won't vote to seed so Tuesday night will show why those games are not necessarily unless they were seeded district games. I didn't figure I'd have to explain this. :idunno:

Bracken rolls into Thursday night. By the 4th quarter Hinson has the JV team. I agree with some that have posted about the seed draw debate and it all comes to a head Tuesday night IMO

I think this one will be closer than most think. If Augusta plays their game they have a great chance to pull this upset. I think Cordle matches up good with Perkins. Shoemaker will have to play an almost flawless game while whom every gets the Dunnaway assignment will have to play some good D for 32 minutes. As I say that if Mason forces the tempo they could run Augusta outta the gym. This is a toss up game for me with whom ever wins the game wins by 6 or less.

Tale of 2 halves. Was a great nip and tuck game in the 1st half with several ties and lead changes. GRC took the lead late in the 2nd quarter and never looked back. 2nd half was just a flat awful half of basketball for BC and an awesome half for GRC. Third quarters have either been really good or really bad for BC. And tonight it was really bad, probably the worst 3rd quarter BC has played all season. Was not shocked GRC won the game just the margin by which. I would have said neither team would win by 10 or more. I've been wrong before and I'm sure this won't be the last. The sun will rise tomorrow and the boys can shift their dice to the last two regular season games and district tournament play.

Great game to watch. Newport is a good physical team. They out rebounded Bracken for most of the game I think it was 30-30 on the rebounds at the end of the night. Bracken was a little sloppy with the passing in the first half and dug themselves into a hole early. Made their free throws down the stretch and got the win. Crawford had 22/8 if I remember correctly. The rest of the scoring came from several Polar Bears. Jones and Engnes didn't have their best games offensively but made plays when needed. Like I said earlier game was very physical and the officiating crew let them play (which personally I like).

Girls play Scott at 2:00 (JV) and 3:30 (varsity). Boys play at 5:00 (JV) and 6:30 (varsity) Senior night for both.

If memory serves me Crawford had 247 pts his 8th grade season. Was their 6th man.

Was a bang bang play nothing more nothing less. I at first also thought it was good per the video. But the pic shows different from that angle. Some ppl want to make a mountain out of a mole hill :idunno:

Sounds like W-town made a shot and Bracken didn't inbound just let the clock run out. Assuming there was less than 5 sec left after said made basket. Confusion on as if the game clock was suppose to stop on made basket. Well in HS the answer is no.

Congrats to Austin on joining an elite club with 3000 pts. Also joining an even more elite club joining the 3000 pt and 1000 rebounds club. Great young man and most deserved. Puts in alot work in on his craft. Don't let it be lost in this on how well the entire team played tonight. Great effort by everyone. Jones Tanner Fisher and Engnes stick out in my mind as having an impact on the outcome as well. Coach has the boys playing their best ball at the right time :thumb:
