Three players score 3,000 in 3 days

Featured Replies

We don't get see this milestone reached very often. It has only happened 31 times in KHSAA history that a player has scored 3,000 points. On Tuesday, Peyton Broughton from North Laurel reached 3K, and on that same night so did Austin Crawford of Bracken County. And tonight Timmy Dalton from Lawrence County scored his 3K.

Crawford and Dalton also hit the 1000 rebounds milestone.

Great accomplishment, Congratulations to all three young men.

Anyone know where these Prime Time Performers are attending college?

I'm thinking Jake Ohmer - Scott is closing in as well.

Broughton is going to EKU, Dalton headed to Salem University I believe, and not sure about Crawford.

I think he just passed the 2,000 mark back in December, if so, that probably puts him in the neighborhood of 2,500.

I think it is amazing there have been 31 players score over 3000 points in their career in Kentucky High School basketball.

Amazing accomplishment.. Wondering how many of these kids played 8th grade and before? I remember the Hatton kid from Dixie I thought played Varsity his 7th & 8th grade years I believe. Could be wrong.

Austin Crawford played as an 8th grader. I believe he was the first off the bench.

If memory serves me Crawford had 247 pts his 8th grade season. Was their 6th man.

That's not a lot of points which means he score 2750+ points in 4 years. wow

He's also the only one in this group not to have a District title on his list as of yet but I think his chances this year are looking up. No disrespect in me saying that.

Also been in a crazy tough district with Augusta and Mason County the past years.
