Where does the Berea situation come in to play? If it comes down to points and scores? They cancelled their game vs Nicholas and this weeks game as well. Paris is the only district team to play them I believe and won big. If Paris wins next week it's a mute point. But if BB shocks the district and pulls out the W what happens then? Their will be all the rest of the district teams that won't get a chance and be shorted a game this season.

On the QB situation I was shocked when Deaton wasn't named starting QB but with that said I'm intrigued to see how the QB does. Wasn't overly impressed vs Ludlow. As for this game BC 35 PC 10

I'd say these teams were pretty even to start this one. Great game to watch. Back and forth contest. Both teams had their chances. Bracken was up late with a chance to seal it but couldn't convert. Then on the next Ludlow possession Blackburn hits #4 who didn't have a Polar Bear within 20 yards of home for a 60 yard to throw and catch. Defenseive lapse caused Bracken a win. Can't take plays off in these type of games and it cost BC last night. Hats off to Ludlow on a well played game. Blackburn is a stud and one of the top players in 1A. Good luck to them the rest of the season. As for BC gotta refocus and set their sights on Pendleton next week. Big rivalry game rekindled this season.

Will their even be an Allen Central? I though the new Floyd Central school will be open in the fall. Combining Allen Central and Floyd Co schools.

Bottom half of the bracket is loaded. St Pat has a very good chance to be playing in the finals. I see them and Nicholas in one Semi (Robertson/Nicholas has potential to be a dandy) and Paris/Brossart in the other. Based on what each team has coming back the Hounds look good to repeat as region champs.

It happens to the best of us. Apparently I put all my chips on the 15 seed. :lol2: I just thought without actually seeing Taylor Co play they were the real deal. I may have been a season too late.

Unfortunately I will not be winning that contest. I guess I was drinking when I entered my picks. Only excuse I can come up with.

It definitely looks like a nice building and nice sports complex. It appears that once completed every 8 years the region will be there. That's great for GRC. They have every right to host if they can accommodate the crowds and such. Personally I will not attend for the same reason I don't go when it's at MoCo. The drive from my house is too long for me on a week/work night. TBH I'd absolutely love to see the region format like it was a couple years ago. When the entire 1st round is played on Saturday and semis and finals was on Mon-Tues. if that were the case I'd attend when the 40th hosted. But that's just me. No matter how nice or new a facility is it will never compare to the Fieldhouse during the 10th region tournament.
