Final.

All Ballard.

Unfortunately some Regional Winners in KY would not even make it to the Regional Tournament in the strong Regions.

The poster who picked Taylor County to win the state tournament is unlikely to win our BGP Contest.

Ballard took control early & made it a blowout from the start. Ballard had 4 guys score double digits, Darby with 15, Tisby with 14, Patterson with 10 & 7 Boards, & Wimberly with 10 & 9 Boards. Smith led the scoring for Taylor County with 11.

Unfortunately I will not be winning that contest. I guess I was drinking when I entered my picks. Only excuse I can come up with.

I picked Michigan State to win the Big Dance last year. They lost to a 15-seed in Game 1.

It happens to the best of us. Apparently I put all my chips on the 15 seed. :lol2:

I just thought without actually seeing Taylor Co play they were the real deal. I may have been a season too late.

Hard to ever go against Ballard or any team from region 6,7 or 11 it's a different level than rest of state

They were pretty good last year. This year, not so much.

How often does a team win the rebounding battle and get doubled up on the scoreboard?

Taylor played as bad as they have all season. No idea how to attack the press, sloppy passing, missed layups etc. Their best shooter from 3 only took 1 and never seemed involved. The teams that went to state the last 2 years would beat this one by 20. Injuries to Gaines wrist and McQueary elbow hurt them as well. Ballard was just too big, too fast, too good and will give Fern Creek a ballgame.
