Something blue was thrown onto the field, a player from NCC threw whatever it was back into the stands. Bad calls are gonna be missed but these were by far the worst officiating crew I've ever seen and to drive 4+ hrs for this was a joke. Just want to clear not blaming the refs for the loss but their definitely was some home cooking going on here tonight. The fans we met when we arrived were very nice and welcoming, completely different story during the game when fans of Belfry were saying things to our players when they were walking into the locker room at halftime, fans were sitting on NCC side saying some very obnoxious things during the entire game and to top it off while the players were eating dinner in the parking lot before they boarded their bus fans from Belfry was driving by screaming things. Wow is all I can say.

Not taking Anything away from TCA correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure NCC held him to just 90 yards roughly. If that's the case he didn't have an easy running game against them.

Again, what does SK have to do with this game between Cooper and BS?????? You are right about 1 thing, Cooper will bounce back and win a few games in 6A, as they should but I'm sure you guys took it to NCC and Highlands when your beloved Jags beat them so don't get your feelings hurt that someone other than UK fan is saying something about your team.

I don't think anyone said any of that in the 2 games your team won. You guys built them up and now when they lose you look for excuses or the whole " why are we even playing" garbage. Clearly in the 2 games you won you were the better team on the field and tonight your team met their match and was manhandle. Good luck to your Jags the rest of the season!!

What I find humorous is all the while when Cooper beat Highlands and laid a goose egg on NCC hell they were the best thing since bubble gum, but now they face a team in their class and it's just football, they will be fine blah blah blah. U guys keep throwing shade back to UK fan in reality some of you are no different than him go back and read some of your own comments. Let's not put the focus on another board member when the focus should be on Cooper and the fact that will will not be able to compete outside of nky in this class.

In all fairness Scott beat NCC without Smith. There is no doubt he is a game changer.

No dirtier than Cooper with the multiple block in the backs that weren't called. Good win for Cooper, they will be battle tested next week with Bryan Station for sure.

Yes he was.

Looking for this young man to have a huge season! Has been working extremely hard this off season. As for the line they are losing Hoover and Neff, not sure who will replace them. Smith is about as good as they get, can make something from nothing at any given time. So looking forward to watching him have an explosive senior year.

NCC takes care of business in the jv game in OT behind a monster game from NCC Frosh Brennan Hall, also nice game from frosh Raavai Commadore from Holmes with 4 3's in the second half to bring the dogs back after being down double digits. Highlands and Covcath freshman both won.

I'm sure they were paying tuition for a school with open enrollment. I'm not knocking the young man at all, just saying why pay a tuition when it's free to go there as long as you don't live in Newport or Dayton.

I agree with most of this post. But I'm pretty sure it was raining on the turf field where NCC beat Newport the first time. I will agree that NCC with have to contain Price, but on the flip of that Newport will have to try to contain Smith who I believe had an exceptional night against them the 1st time as well. Pretty sure NCC beat Newport at Newport already this yr. not taking anything away from the Wildcats but IMO NCC is better and should win this next meeting as well.
