Maybe he achieved the milestone during the playoffs and/or after everything was compiled?

 

That makes sense — the KFCA sends this list out after the second round each year and HHS got to the finals last year, which means at least two more wins.

Can't stand mis-spelled names or school names. Take a little time and get proper info. If school sent it in , then shame on them for not knowing.

Okay, I don't even follow 2A football but even I know that Shelby Valley or Leslie County's coaches should have got district 8 coach of they year over DeRossett. Also, Rowan County won 2 games and did not qualify for the postseason, by far their worst season in quite sometime, how does Ray Graham win 4A district 8 coach of the year?

Not sure if the football coaches follow suit, but for a long time (and maybe still) the basketball coaches were only eligible for coach-of-the-year honors if they were a member of the association.
