The weather was awesome tonight. I like the Cooper concession always serves Chick-Fila.

Cooper's 4th touchdown was one of the best plays that I've seen this year. The Qb threw it to a spot, Hendrix ran a post then peeled back to catch it in stride. In basketball terms, it would of been equivalent to a cross over that broke the defenders ankles.

-19 is getting it done. Nice job St Xavier!

I'm leaning Ryle in this one, but do believe Dante Hendrix could be a difference maker. If Cooper finds a way to get him touches, they could win this game.

There are some that have overvalued Grant County and have undervalued Covington Catholic solely on record. CCH wins big on Saturday. Now that their done with the Max Preps Gauntlet, I feel the Colonels can get a nice run over the next three weeks.

Assumption, Mercy, Sacred Heart and NDA are the only schools that are contenders, probably in that order. What has it been 20+ years since NDA has won? They have had some great teams. Louisville is one of the premiere areas of the country for volleyball.

OK, I know that I am just a hillbilly from Union, Ky, but someone educate me about CAL. What does it stand for and where is located at? The guy sitting next me at UK/EKU last night was wearing a CAL Soccer shirt. I thought that I have heard of most schools, but I don't remember this one.

I always admired the job Mike Murphy did at Newport. He faced a lot of similar issues that are there today. Newport did have a run of really nice athletes during his tenure.

Can you explain the QB situation for Lloyd? I have seen them play 3 times this year and there seems to be a new QB every game. Where is the kid that started against Beechwood? He looked like an athlete.

#5 is the best athlete in the stadium, get him the ball. He had a kid giving up a foot in height and 50lbs defending him. If you are going to throw it over the middle into traffic in a rain storm, make sure #5 is in the mix!

UK#1 Fan has been a little quiet this week on the threads, I just noticed SK has the bye. A well deserved rest for the Pioneers and the their #1 fan. Both will be back to in full stride come next week!

I almost got married at the church there, we opted for Catalina Island instead.

The video they had on his summer ball, you can tell he is stepping into the outside J more. I am still selfishly pulling for Pepperdine, Cole would excel and fit in great with the West Coast Conference. Plus, we could do a BGP road trip to Malibu. Guru told MTGL just to take it out the slush fund.

The Juggs are going to have to limit their penalties and mistakes to win this game. You can't go for it on your own 20 yard line. You can't throw it into traffic repeatedly and expect good results. Clock management will be imperative on the Coach's part. Recklessness will cost them against Connor.

I would like to see Lloyd and Boone renew their schedule. They have not played since 1988. It is better than Boone traveling to Lexington several times a year.

Speaking of Saturday games, CWB got me to pony the $20 for premium membership, so I could read about these lights that were coming. Is there any update on the lights?

Panda, those are some great photos. The quality is simply amazing.

Gaines definitely past the eye test. How do you compare him to a Jelani (sp) Brandon or a Charles Sheffield? I was not living around here when both of these guys were playing.
