Thanks it will be ok. I feel better about the Juggs going into districts than Conner. Not trying to be mean just honest.

#12 and #24 are very good athletes but the size or lack their off is going to hurt. Don't know why Conner chose to play up in 6A but they will be feeling it and possibly regretting it by the end of the season.

I do not know what Lloyd's game plan was for offense but IMO switching your style every series prolly isn't the best. I understand making adjustments and trying different things but to go back and forth like that will never allow you to get momentum. 3 straight passes one series with the field spread and then 3 straight runs with your big package? Really didn't see the jet sweep a whole lot if any if I can remember right. That is the one play I think could have been effective tonight. Really unsure what Turner was trying or wanting to do tonight maybe he was too.

Congrats to Conner on the W and to Lloyd for getting a good opponent to battle test you going into districts.

 

Sure the Juggs are salty on the loss, I like their preparation going into battle with NCC. Keep battlin' Juggs one play at a time!

How did it end?

 

Lloyd's D stopped Conner on another 4th and goal. Punted and coverage was normal which means not very good and #24 took it right back down into inside the 20. Conner threw a pass to the right side tipped by the WR/DB but anothe Cougar was able to catch it. Lloyd got the ball back and Runion caught a pass across the middle and took it down to about the Conner 25. Lloyd has to go for it on a 4th and 2 and Fann is unable to handle the snap. Ball is recovered 20 yards behind the line, I believe by Lunsford. He takes it back around the right side to pick up first down but is stopped about 8 yards short.
