Given the scenarios, I do agree if JC beats Cov Cath that will be the way it plays. If Cov Cath beats JC I have Corbin at HHS and Cov Cath at Boyle. Cov Cath will have to pass Corbin in the RPI to make the other scenario play out. Since Corbin plays Great Crossing this weekend and Cov Cath has the Bye, it will be tough to catch them, I would guess. But with the RPI formula, anything is possible.

Do you have any anticipated "what ifs" for after this week as a projection? Or better yet, If Boyle were to lose against FD, are you able to project what the RPI would look like?

The OWP (opponents winning percentage) would be better for cov cath if HHS wins in the RPI calculation. As far as the value for out of state competition is .5106 which is better than if Holmes stayed in the district.

But there's excitement in seeing teams improve, climb the ranks, and play the if/then game.

There were 3 different penalties on the fake punt that weren't called. I guess nothing now can be done. I don't want to turn this into a ref bashing deal either, but missing 3 calls on 1 play seems a bit excessive. 1. Illegal participation 2. Illegal formation with 5 in the backfield 3. Ineligible player down field based on the formation. This play didn't determine the outcome overall, it just sealed the deal.

My pick would depend on who's healthy and who's not. What do both teams look like as far as that goes?
