Highlands had to play 2 of those games in the district and beat them 105-0. And scored 60 in the third game. But I'm sure it just wasn't good enough....

My guess would be job conflicts since most are employed outside the school. Or maybe the time commitment gets in the way and real life has to be handled. I'm sure most schools across the state run into the same issues in the off season.

There's more to it than just the class the other team is in. The teams those teams play and their record against those teams all matter. It's not simple math.

It doesn't help the RPI to play out of state competition. Playing quality opponents inside the state is the way to go.

Shocking to see the enrollment is down. What is driving that? It would be interesting to see what the percentage of kids that are enrolled don't participate in athletics as well. I assume that's pretty low.
