I'm amazed that so many people like to argue about balls/strikes when they aren't in any position to see it. Maybe plate umps should have cameras mounted on their masks and their view shown on big video screens. Maybe an in game app to crowd-source the calls.

If the Bluebirds were not in the baseball region final, I would have definitely been down to see this game. Good luck to both teams for an injury free game...

Dad says that he has (or had) a highlight video that teammate Mike Fry (deceased) put together some years ago. He isn't sure if it had any of the state game on it or not. But it's not the whole game - if it has anything.

@Lawnboy13 That has to be the weakest write up you've done on a game this season... Didn't even mention the tourney team or mvp. Although you probably had to go start working on getting the field ready for Monday. So I guess it's ok...

I don't think the word "void" sounds right, but may be a correct terminology for it. There is likely an early termination clause in the agreement. As risk adverse as KHSAA is, can't imagine them not being on solid ground to terminate it.

It's just a hollow milestone until he can finally get that All A win.

Although... Maybe HH proposed using Paul Brown. ANY high school championship game is better than watching any other football played there.

The sequence is not conclusive. It was very close. Close enough that I personally couldn't label it a "bad call". But I thought she was safe at the time. In this case, I think the angle the ump had was the disadvantage. #1 is pretty quick around the bases...
