I think we survived the threat, It got dark, windy and a few sprinkles around 12:15. Still a little overcast, but all good at Boone.

I would agree with Rebelsfan, Bob Meyerhoff has taken freshman teams that really didn't perform well and turned them completely around. The last two seasons, he has taken teams that won about 3 games in their freshman year to teams winning 12+ games the next. I feel he is one of the best in the business. Boone had a coaching change at the freshman level this season which I feel will help get the freshman team better prepared for the next level. Great Job Coach Huff and all of his assistants.

It will be a good game, but I would go with Conner. Sky is pretty dark over Boone, Hopefully rain holds off.

JV - Boone County 3- Cov Cath 1 Final from Dixie. Nice game by the Rebels, Complete game by Elmore.

I have been told the Boone / Cov Cath is moved to 8:30 at Dixie.

What field did they play on? Who gets credit for getting the field ready? Thought every game would be rained out today.

Ganns is leading Boone with a .480 batting avg and had great starts against all 3 district teams which was a big part of going undefeated in district play. He had a nice win against Harrison County and topped it all off with a perfect game against Walton Verona.

I would have to say Trey Ganns for 9th POY. He has been on fire at the plate and the most dominant pitcher all season.

When is the sophomore all star game and how do players get selected?

Is Boone County Schools the only schools not allowed to play or use school facilities on Sunday w/o special permission? I know there has been times in middle school and high school where Boone County teams couldn't participate in tourneys or they win games up to Saturday only to forfeit the games on Sunday. This happen in middle school basketball several times. No Sunday Play - Is this an old rule that has been on the books due to church, family day? I know Sunday is a big day for sports o/s of school, so why the rule here in Boone Co? Whats the rule in other parts of the state?:confused:
