Is Boone County Schools the only schools not allowed to play or use school facilities on Sunday w/o special permission? I know there has been times in middle school and high school where Boone County teams couldn't participate in tourneys or they win games up to Saturday only to forfeit the games on Sunday. This happen in middle school basketball several times. No Sunday Play - Is this an old rule that has been on the books due to church, family day? I know Sunday is a big day for sports o/s of school, so why the rule here in Boone Co? Whats the rule in other parts of the state?:confused:

Kenton County makes you ask for permission but if it is a tournament it's usually granted I believe.

Shelby County has the same rule. Most of the time the school board approves Sunday activities for special occasions if it is asked for ahead of time.
