Conner 8 Beechwood 1

Final - Conner 8, Beechwood 1

Freshmen Craddock with the hold 2 IP

I was told last night that the Combs kid for Beechwood broke his hand and will miss the remainder of the high school season.

That's a pretty big blow for BW to take and hopefully they will regroup and still have a legit shot at competing for the regional title.

Conner has outscored Beechwood 20-3 in their two games against each other this year.

Ross continues to bring it on the mound and the freshman Craddock keeps pitching very well for Conner, too.

I don't draw any conclusions beyond the fact that Ross has pitched well against BW.

BW hasn't had one of their top line starters available for either game.

How did Combs break his hand?

Maybe they should of played Cooper and Cancelled Conner :lol2:

That was for you Hellbird..

Congrats Conner on the victory!

I don't think that many people give proper credit to the Boone County baseball district. It was easily the best overall district last year and may just be this year as well. Top to bottom, no easy out.

Maybe they should of played Cooper and Cancelled Conner :lol2:

Hellbird, You had to see that coming!

was told Combs injured himself batting in the All A tourney

Did he play at all against Conner? I am curious as to when it was diagnosed.

Surprised to see this one.
