The view from here in Princeton is that we'll trade you guys Mayfield for Danville, and then see how much success y'all have against Big Red. Honestly, in District 1, this is a "down year" for both Caldwell County and Mayfield, and we're still having this conversation. Shoot, when Mayfield list that home game earlier this year, I had to call my friends down there to make sure they were alright.

I'd agree with you on this, at least until Lyon County gets a little more big game experience. The Lyons should be strong for a while with Travis Perry there, and him only being an 8th grader.

All of this talk of Beechwood would have beat Mayfield. I'm by no means a Mayfield fan, but I have 1 question for y'all. Has Beechwood ever beaten Mayfield? Mayfield is a force whenever they walk on the field.
