Belfry in cover 2 waits for an opportunity and Central delivers by throwing an INT. Central will have to seek the flat and seam routes to get back in this one! 24-7 Belfry w/ 5 mins + in the 3rd qrtr!

HUGE STOP on the goal line stand! I'd throw a deep pass right here...

In other news Bama is beating Florida 40-16 w/ 12 mins remaining!

Central will need to use their big play capability in the second half. Spread the field and use your speed! Belfry will and should continue to grind and eat clock with that HUGE line. Boys are fed well...:lol2: Happy it's somewhat close and not a blow out!

Poor clock use by Belfry but saved by PI call and encroachment to kick a FG making this a 2 possession lead at 17-7... Yellow Jackets are still in this one!

Simpson is capable to tuck and run and if Belfrys secondary is doing just that well covering receivers, HE NEEDS TO...if Central can keep the score 14-7 going into the half they have a chance!!! Not sure they can overcome a 14 point deficit at the half!

Central hanging right in there for the moment.

Getting a very David vs Goliath esq feel after the first two series. Central needs a score sooner rather than later! Belfry is HUGE!!!

Just signed in and ready to see a monumental battle between Belfry & Central. Looking forward to watching these D1 Pirate student-athletes in action!!!

Well said VoR...and this concept was my intention!!!

Have two newer restaurants to share both located across the street from Crossroads church in Oakley. In new shopping center complex. Ladles is a quaint soup and sandwich shop. Have been twice and have enjoyed both meals tremendously. Grilled Mediterranean Cheese sandwich on rye is the bomb. And their soups are outstanding ( buffalo chicken / broccoli and cheddar are stellar ). You can taste test their many soups while waiting in line to order. Avg. cost about $10 per meal. Next door to ladles in MOD Pizza. Think the Subway of Pizza. You order a base pizza and then add fixins. An 11" pizza with drink will run you about $10 as well. I have been here twice as well and have enjoyed both meals. Co-workers are leaving happy as well with their meals. Check them out folks...I think you'll leave happy and full!

Way to hit stride and "peak" at the right time of the season. Congrats to the Bombers!

Congratulations Tigers on a fantastic season and state championship! I knew this team was going to be very solid after watching the Dixie Heights scrimmage back in August. Versatile offense with good use of pass vs run and with a more than capable defense. And thank you for bringing a trophy back to NKY... :thumb:

Back ? I wasn't aware that they had left... :lol2:

The young man earned an offer from defending NAIA National Champion, Marian University. Should be an interesting next couple months before a decision is made by mid-Feb. Being heavily recruited by a few FCS D1 schools at OLB! Looks like a good fit for his size and speed. Congrats on a very solid senior season! 2

All about the trenches for BG. An impressive front 4 on D and a very solid O-line! Payne could have eaten a happy meal back there in the first half while choosing receivers to throw to... Congrats to the Purples on the W and to the Tiger seniors on a very good season!

How many punts? :idunno:

WTB Corbin...

Impressive first half by BG....it's all about that O-line and their QBs pocket presence. The young man has had a lot of time to lock into an open receiver. Unless FC passes or makes adjustments at the half...BG advances this one. Great job by BGs livestream crew. Really enjoyed the Coach Wallace pre-game interview and understand why they are as successful as they are. :thumb: Glad you're enjoying the DJ Purple88...amongst the current lead as well! :lol2:

You need some unicorns and rainbows SF...no thank you on "possibilities" I have no control over!

Like a 5-6 Southern Miss team...:bunny:

Internet radio or live stream available for this one?

Not sure it will happen tonight but the tigers are due...:lol2:

Unless I'm a hometown kid and don't want to be too far away from friends and family if I'm a 4-5* recruit and have a choice between Bama or UK. I'd rather play for a team that is a National Championship contender on a consistent basis. Haven't two top kentucky blue chippers committed to Bama recently within the month? Thought a saw two threads on bgp on the subject. Maybe UK playing in the Bobs Tire Barn Bowl this season spurns more interest? Kudos to WKU on capturing the mid-major in state players. The Toppers are 8-3 overall and 6-1 in conference and have a RPI higher than UK!

I'm really intrigued with this match up after watching FC carve up Dixie Heights and then beat Covcath. I don't think FC is as one dimensional as they lead on. Their QB threw laser guided missiles against Dixie and has a good touch on the ball as well when they screen or he needs to float a pass to a receiver in man coverage. I really appreciate the objective Purple fans who have showed nothing but respect for this game and FC. I wish I knew more about BG. I'll give the edge to the Purples. FCs kicking game struggles. I think the difference will be a couple missed extra points and a failed 2 point conversion. 28-26 BG ...and enjoy that DJ! :thumb:
