Not completely true. I'm a fan of St.Henry volleyball and I think Ncc may have the best baseball history in the 9th region.

Holmes gave Ncc a competitive scrimmage. Ncc is 40pts better than Holy Cross. Holmes will win easily.

When I see a colonel logo talking about Holmes attrition numbers why wouldn't I bring in Covcath? How are you certain of Holmes numbers? My agenda was only to get my yard done before I left for Ashland. So I was right, 2 of the last 5 Holmes Covcath games were closer than most would expect.

And to be clear, you have to play Aau also to get better. But the high school game is much better for the fans and the meaning of the games.

Would my Jr league coaching qualify me? We could run the scissors play off the center at the high post.

True of college coaches. But that doesn't change my main point, no one cares who wins an AAU game. Its less structured, more poorly officiated, and fundamentally poor basketball. Back tipping, cherry picking, gang defense rather than guarding. And before you say you haven't seen it, I attended boys events at KBA recently.

I think this post is condescending towards Holmes. They've given Covcath some decent games in recent years. Maybe they should've just scheduled them earlier in the year. I think Holmes coach Nevels works hard.

The Anderson kid will be fine at Qb for Ncc. He did a nice job in the past when I've seen him.

Maybe when they play Highlands both teams will have 42 at the half instead of just one.

I was at the Covcath-Lasalle game on a Saturday at Covcath a few years ago. It was scorching hot and Covcath was getting beat pretty bad very quickly. Details are sketchy now. But, I remember they canceled the second half. I don't know if it was because of heat or the score, but they didn't offer to give the fans half their money back. I know it was a releif to Covcath fans, but I felt like I got ripped off. I came to watch my nephew play for LaSalle and only got to see a half. Play it whenever you are sure you can get in the whole game.

Any time i ever saw Highlands play Ashland, their fans and players displayed good sportsmanship. If Ncc starts losing or gets a few bad calls, wait until Ashland gets a dose of angry Nccfan. The screaming and yelling is unbelievable.

I thought the Ryle feeders were tough when I saw them in middle school. Still think its Notre Dame's to lose.

Why would anyone dislike Ashland? Who considers them a power? Who have they beat bad? I think of Ashland the same way I do Boyd and Greenup. Just another team down that way.
