Who will be next Montgomery County Basketball Coach?
I would say that Woodard is going with Happy to KWC. MoCo is going to be all over Scott Hundley to take over the Indians Program.

Coach Feldhaus Post Game Comments Question
I was at the Finals supporting MCHS. My "hometown" team has transfers, but our coach doesn't go around promoting them as raised locally either! If you look above at a previous comment I stated that I'd doubt any team in the state is 100% homegrown. Congrats on Title and thanks for answering my question!

Coach Feldhaus Post Game Comments Question
My question was we're they all raised in Richmond? These are the words of the coach. I understand that probably no team in the state is 100% homegrown kids, but point blank a transfer, no matter how good or bad, is still a transfer.

Coach Feldhaus Post Game Comments Question
http://fieldsnotes.bloginky.com/2013/03/10/video-allen-feldhaus-jr-on-winning-state-title/ I stumbled upon this great post game interview with Coach Feldhaus. One of his comments kind of struck me as "out of place", Coach said "We don't except transfers, all of our players grew up in Richmond". Is this a true statement? I have heard from multiple folks that both Bosley and Taylor are both in fact transfers? Not trying to question the coach's comments just trying to get to the truth of the matter.

Lexington Catholic 63 Woodford County 53
Hundley lost 7 seniors from last years squad that went to regional finals, this year he won the district finished above .500 and has 8 seniors graduating...Bottom line is the folks in Versailles have a gem in Hundley!

Scott County 83 Henry Clay 64
I guess you meant keeps them from playing Central in first round? Ideal draw for SC would be Henry Clay drawing Central in first round, but either way in the 11th there will be no easy road to Rupp.

Guess Title IX only applies to regular season?
You are comparing apples to oranges, in Title 9 no female sport is compared to Football thus the Football BCS games are irrelevant according to Title 9. The question is does the KHSAA even fall under Title 9? Most schools/organizations that follow Title 9 receive federal funds. I would assume the KHSAA receives no federal monies? Or do they? These monies do include any federal grants.

Guess Title IX only applies to regular season?
It's 100% correct. Schools are assessed for equal spending between comparable sports annually. It's irrelevant how much a team profits or fundraises it's all about the expense amount totals.
-
Guess Title IX only applies to regular season?
Just as the schools have to follow equal spending between girls and boys sports ...I assume the KHSAA has to follow those same guidelines. No way the spending is equal with boys and girls championships especially in Basketball. While the KHSAA audits it's schools for Title 9 Compliance...who audits the KHSAA for compliance?

22ft Academy?
Kind of odd that they decided to go to Breathitt, isn't that district being run by the state? I cant see any positives to them being located in Kentucky. They can only play against non sanctioned high school teams in KY and College JV teams, neither of which provides them with much competition, which means they will be paying big money for teams to come to them or paying big money to travel out of state.
