Say what you want about the coaches and players they are not worried you seen the adjustments made that came to a 22 point win against Holmes the second time around why can't that happen against Highlands as well? And Turner easily can go for more then 17 against Highlands.

Great points RCC9 but a little off with who the teams returned Highlands may have returned there same team from last year in which took overtime to beat HC last year, BUT your forgetting a small detail from last year to this year HC gained Turner one of the best scorers in the state. the first time around she was not on her game I think if they meet in the region she will be the difference maker. Also that being said I don't see Highlands hitting as many 3's as thy did at HC which kept them in the game.

First off she had been called every name in the book all night long from the "so called innocent SK player" had taken multiple cheep shot jabs at her mid section all night and by no means do I say it's ok to punch a player on the court but if your gonna act dumb and dish it out don't be upset when you get it back, as for the suspension the Walton player of you wanna get technical was the only player in which actually got punished she had to sit on the bench and watch her team play without her which is a lot worse then sitting at home "sick" As for this player in which her style is bad for her and the game and SK I have only watched them a handful of times this year but it's blatent which played you are talking about, did she get another technical foul tonight?

Safe to say HC jumps over Holmes or is beating them twice at Holmes both times second time by 22?

Should be an electrifying atmosphere in that gym Thursday night. HC is a bad matchup for Holmes but that being said Holmes is playing good basketball and on a mission right now, I'll take HC in a nail biter from start to finish!

Only way Ludlow beats Dixie is if Tibbs has an off night Warndorf is a solid player but still no match for Tibbs I see Dixie winning in convincing fashion!

As stated in the thread before it's not all about winning and losing it's about teaching and coaching life lessons not just to one player but the entire team. Yes Ludlow is having a great season but don't change things for one player because you might get another win. As for beating a big school your argument is invalid Newport is by the grit of there teeth still considered 2a with there student population so not much of a BIG school kinda game!

This has gotten way out of hand I as well am a graduate of Ludlow playing sports there and learning the disiplinary actions that take place, if you miss practice you don't start unless for a dr visit or school work. As far as being sick all week and then showing up on game day why should she start? Yes she's a great player yes she makes the team better but why diciplin the other girls who where at practice everyday and filled in and got the reps? Does this Newport game mean anything to Ludlow? For all I cared about when I was there for my 4 years was the conference games district games and then after that all the other games win or lose didn't matter win or lose. I'm sure many other teams and people feel the same way, being 4-0 in distract play and losing every other game in the season is a pretty good season for most teams going into districts and region, considering the ultimate goal is state! Panthar you are making it very clear you didn't just choose Ludlow as a team to follow not by coming out and saying it but by what you know more then most do who just happen to follow the team this year! As for the comment about big games with Bellevue and Dayton when I played no matter what the game meant whether it be all a or just another game if it was a conference opponent it was counted as a conference game so if it's still done the same way Bellevue had there chance twice and Dayton as well with a make up game Ludlow took care of business when they needed to and therefor are conference champs.

Haven't followed each team much but did Ludlow wind up losing a game in the conference? What was Bellevues conference record? That could be the determining factor?

I agree this is probably one of the most anticipated district match ups NDA has what it takes to pull off the upset, but Holmes is just to deep and playing to well Holmes by 10+

Only thing wrong about this thread the tech was called for a blatant body slam by Bosse hooked the arm and intentionally threw the girl to the ground watched it happen and was behind SK bench and heard the explanation to Stowers, who agreed with the call! Highlands flat out came to play on senior night SK not so much.

HC also played Laurence North IN which last time I checked was ranked in the top 20 in the nation by ESPN
