Correct I was looking throught all the years. Regaurdless of that mix up with the stats still good numbers for a player of his size. Love seeing talent get mentioned from the small schools like Ludlow keep doing big things Evan, and good luck to the Panthers this year!

Correct me if I'm wrong but to aquier a batting average you simply divide the H's by the number of AB's to get the average?

This thread is way off from what I anticipated I'm just looking to see what officials are looked at by others as top notch. Myself and I'm sure you guys like games that the Refs let it be known how the game is going to be called and that's how it plays out and this year I haven't seen a consistant game be called.

Not trying to be ridiculous being honest the women ref was by far the most consistant and for the most part making the right calls the whole night the other two where subpar at best! Not trying to insult or make any suspect comments!

How is this scale rated higher number good or what?

Who are a couple names you guys think are considered the Good ones? The 3 I seen do the women's All A championship game where not good at all it looked like each guy picked a team they would be for and the girl ref (who I've never seen until that night officiate) was the middle man/woman for the game.

Same type of play happened tonight in the Ludlow Holy Cross game it also went uncalled?

I agree completely 100%! But tonight watching the Ludlow Holy Cross game Tyler Biezald sp? Went up for a layup and was smacked in the face actually I should say punched practically on a fast break and it went un called the proceeding possession Ludlow sets a double pick at the top of the key side by side letting there player slip through and pinching for the defensive player and because the player jumped into the screen and fell a whistle was called then late in the game a clear flop that the camera guy I was talking to got a picture of the Holy Cross player falling to the ground before the Ludlow player even made contact was called as a charge? It's just really bad and not fun for the kids or even the fans to have to wonder what the official is gonna call and not call compared to what's expected to be called according to the rules of the game?

Hate to add fuel to the fire but after looking over Simon Kentons schedule who have they played other then Shelby county? Not downing anyone's school but really I believe as of right now people are getting WAY to over the top for SK with not playing any decent competition! Anyone beg to differ?

I know it's an over beat topic but after attending multiple boys games and multiple girls games this year in the 9th region and tournaments in Lexington, I have to say the 9th region officials have to be at the bottom of the barrel as far as good and consistant. Attending the girls All A tournament and now tonight's Ludlow Vs Holy Cross game seen way to many obvious slaps to the face and elbows to the head go uncalled but yet the flops are cinsistant and the ghost make up calls. I'm not personally an official and don't claim to be but I played the game for 15 years and no a foul from a whoops missed the last one that was close enough. Has anyone else noticed this during other 9th region games?

One of the most anticipated match ups this year! Can the dawgs get out early and run with this one playing at home, or does HC coming off an all A championship and seeming to be clicking at the right time do they control the tempo and get the W? Interesting fact Holmes has a matchup with Brossart Tuesday night Holy Cross has all week to prepare for this one! I expect lots of fireworks in this game and can see Holy Cross continuing there success giving the dawgs there first loss of the year in an nail biter!

This Thursday night I'm sure will be a packed house!

Not a fan of either school but have met plenty players and fans of these schools along the way what you are saying here is true to a point! When a player is given the opportunity that Niece was given at Scott and the things that where said about Niece are said and she transfers practically quits on that coach and those players thinking she is jumping ship to a better team that's has a chance of winning it all with a great coach, of course Scott is going to wanna put it on SK any team in that situation would want to do the same thing! Can I blame Niece for the move she made? No but that being said she's a year or so late on the move the players at SK now are not the players of SK the last few years! If I can find it I do believe there is an article of Nieces father stating how loyal him and his daughter are to the Scott program and that they're not going anywhere but bringing Scott a state title? Sounds like SK had this one coming to them!

I had no dog in this fight but I don't think there is any blame to be given anywhere! As a coach you want all your players to succeed, games like these are what we considered practice games for our team you practice your entire game plan for four quarters And suceed! The Ludlow Holy Cross game was the same way as this game the other night and no one is complaining about that one? St Henry's girls just went out and out performed Villa and this was the out come! We've all played sports I'm sure at one point and I know we didn't go out to make friends and say we only beat them by one being nice, we went on the floor/field and wanted to burry the other team! Now the question is can St Henry stay with Holy Cross or will this be another thread starting game?
