With what Highlands returns next year it will be Holmes right behind Them will be Highlands then it's a toss up from there that's how it is shaping out if it doesn't happen for the Bluebirds next year then the players aren't the issue its above them.

Also I agree Mclendon is a huge factor on making this team go, but with that being said she is the type of player who cares nothing about these awards she along with her team is focused on the big prize the one goal every team in the state sets out to achieve at the beginning of the season. This group of girls doesn't care about the all tourney teams there care about each other, the program they play for and winning the ultimate prize!

I argue for HC when they aren't given the credit deserved I've given HHS both of them there credit that they are very good but when HC beats both teams twice and you still want to argue they are all even is comical. As for the scoring argument go back and read the comments my exact argument was Leigh and Adler are there top scores and you posted stats proving that but tried arguing they aren't? Highlands is very good when they get out and run and play there game but when they are held back from doing so it hurts them a lot there starting 5 in my opinion is another big scoring threat away from being dominant but this year it's HC year in the 9th. That being said Holmes will not be a gimme game tonight it's gonna be a war can't wait to see this one!

Your last post stated how HC doesn't get to experience this often when was the last time Highlands did 2002? Don't bash HC or there program when they beat you twice! As for your stats all you did was prove I was right that after Adler and Leigh Highlands scoring drops off it showed last night those two kept that game close for a while but HC just had more options I agree Highlands is a great team but the way you talk about them they should be beating everyone they step on the floor with.

Sense we are on the topic the officials for the 9th region tourney have been HORRIBLE 19 fouls called last night in one quarter? A lot of which should have been called and a lot of phantom calls and a ton of calls not called its really hard to adjust to the officials when you can't get up the floor without a whistle.

I've sat back long enough RCC9 there is always something to be said when Highlands loses never just they flat out got beat. You wanna talk about one year wonders? When was the last time Highlands was relavent in anything except football? With this so called dynasty of a group you like to talk about why has Highlands not made it past the region tourney the past couple years? Is it coaching is it becuas the game was on a Saturday or was it because the other team was just flat out better then Highlands?

HC from start to finish was never in trouble, unforced turnovers killed highlands all game long on to the finals for HC!

I personally love the idea of the games being held at NKU gives each kid a little incentive to play for even the small schools who know there not going to state but can squeak into the regionals it's neat being able to play on a college floor and like RCC9 said state games are played on the bigger Court so it gives a leg up for the 9th region winner already playing on the bigger floor.

All comes down to does HC pressure Highlands guards and stick to there normal game plan and control the pace of the game, and does Highlands hit there three pointers. The inside game should be a war on saturday with both teams bigs battling. I'll take HC in a very close game from start to finish.

Watched the 9th region girls tourney games last night at NKU 16th refs CALLED every little thing, not sure about tonight's games but hard for teams to get in a grove.

This surprises me I've personally got to deal with the administration at Bellevue and had no issues whatsoever honestly probably the best I dealt with. Kids and all no issues in my stent there! Any names yet on applicants?

My gut tells me Highlands names the score, but with highlands having to play with someone new under center could hurt a little. As for Racke not sold on him yet maybe because I watched Kuntz for multiple years and don't see the same attributes from Racke I don't know. Powell hopefully he has a great game but it will be tough with Highlands speed on defense he might not outrun everyone like he usually does and will have to take on some hits and have a good amount of yards after contact!

Adler and Leigh are the only two offensive contributors night in and night out at the games I've seen and without Adler making 5-6 3's that game is a blowout highly doubt she makes 5-6 and other girls make them as well not taking anything away from the other girls for Highlands but it will take more then two girls contributing to win.
