There is nothing wrong with comparing. However, few would side with you that this year's team was better than the previous one's mentioned. Bottomline, they were ousted in the first round of region after being district runners-up. Not equivalent at all to a regional runner-up team. Not even close.

SK has been on a roll lately and it might be hard for South to recover emotionally from such a draining game last night. I think SK moves on to the finals.

Shocked that Southwestern let this happen. They are a good team and I expected a trip to Rupp.

Why does a coach throw a fit toward an official in a game they just won on a great shot? Did the Fleming Co/Lewis Co. game teach us anything?

Who wins tonight between Grant Co. and Simon Kenton? Grant won both matchips in the regular season which is why I like SK tonight.

27-1 is hard to argue with. Coach Kays is well deserving. I also believe Coach Stowers has done a great job for SK as well. Nothing wrong with Coach Howell either. We'll see who gets to cut the nets down in a couple of weeks though. That's the award they all really want.

If the assistant had not got a technical, the head coach should've have gotten one because they were both way out of the coaches box and screaming at the official. The official showed good poise in just observing them and then making the obvious call.

2 controversial timeouts toward the end of this one. Walton gets granted a timeout with a little over a minute left while one official is calling a travel. Then, GC doesn't get one when they are asking for it and they end up taking a poor shot. Tough to take considering it was basically a 1 possession game?

I like Highlands in this one. It will be interesting to see if Walton can handle the Birds pressure and Walton has been inconsistent at point guard lately. Judy is coming off of a monster game and its unlikely she will be able to play like that against Shaeffer. I do think it will be close though. Walton is a talented team.

I am beginning to think SK is overrated. This loss is disappointing. Fortunately, it doesn't mean much for SK's chances in the 8th region.

You play to win the game. That's the point of competition. If you want to play for fun, try intramurals or open gym.

If they are freshmen, then they should be allowed to play. High school basketball is not the same as youth sports. In a tournament format, each school should post the best team possible to represent their school.

Sampson is a good player but his team isn't even the #1 seed in their district. My vote goes to Marshall. Marvel has a good point on the Anglin kid from Grant. He is their version DeAndre Liggins.
