  1. Tattoos, line beards, Ed Hardy T-shirts it's all the same.
  2. I do not think this team will go 40-0, but they will certainly win a boat load of games, just not sure how many that is.... Maybe 30+
  3. I don't know where or when any of you have encountered Louisville fans but a lot of the same can be said for our little brother in Louisville. Let's see here Louisville is in the same state so the redneck joke is invalid, we have had a boat load of past glory and people like to remeber that, and bring it up (you would do the same), our fans are passionate so what. UK has such a huge following that it is impossible to not have some moron fans, but hey they are down for the cause. I'd love for someone to produce a Louisville version of this but the jokes are still the same and we have all heard them before because most of them hold true. Line Beard Univeristy lives on!!! Keep fighting the good fight!!
  4. I hope, his game is just hard to watch sometimes. My question is how can Towels be that bad?
  5. The fairy tale is over... Good luck to Bridgewater the rest of the way.
  6. Clowney's size being a question mark is laughable. He is a beast, end of story.
  7. You choke when you do nothing in the play offs all those years. Simple.
  8. What schools are in it for Stanley Johnson?
  9. You play if you're healthy in my opinion. Like Spurrier said, they don't have time to worry about one player. With or without ya!!!
  10. They can hedge this "gamble by getting a degree, crazy stuff, right? And the funny part is most of these guys have the resources to obtain a degree in three years.
  11. I agree completely, questioning a perennial .300 hitter is silly. I too think he should be in the two hole.
  12. Great effort by the Cats. Whitlow finally looked comfortable and got into a flow. Keep improving every week!
  13. Some folks need a reality check... That is all.
  14. A few thoughts here: One if your Joe Morgan, or Larkin (names people keep throwing around) why would you leave what you're doing to come manage. Those dudes have it made. I just don't see them wanting to, or even Walt asking them. I feel the Reds are going to go all out with this hire with someone like Price, or a younger um proven manager as a back up option. I do not think Price would be bad, but nor great. Sometimes the guys like Price that have been under a manager get to see what works, and what doesn't work. To be honest I'm not familiar with any up and coming managers. As mentioned before I just feel the Reds are gonna get a rock star per se i.e. Tony LaRussa. Guy is baseball royalty, and sees the game in a way that not most do. This would be one happy Reds fan if we landed him, but it doesn't seem likely. Girardi would be nice, but again from what I've read he wants to be a Cubby or Yankee. We'll see I just hope they don't flop in this hire, because the Reds definitely have the talent, and team to make a strong run at a WS. I firmly believe with the hire of a good manager, someone who is going to implement fundamentals, structure, and hold guys accountable that this team could be very succesful. We shall see...
  15. He's a great hitter, one of the best in league. Had a down year that's all.
  16. A sp isn't a dire need for this team so if the money can be used in other places that would be beneficial I would think.
  17. Paige though?? Come on man... HAHA I do like around the horn though. Good show.
  18. You missed the part where I said it was my opinion. McCann strikes me as a tool, doesn't mean he's a bad player I just think it wasn't his duty or burden to block the plate. His actions prove he was looking for confrontation--if he doesn't block the plate chances are Carlos goes to the dugout. If baseball needed base path police they would hire them.
  19. I agree too many missed opportunities at the plate, but I think it is on the manager to get creative and manufacture runs especially with the pitching staff the Reds have.
  20. UK v. UL is by FAR the biggest game of the season. Has the all the intangibles, build up, etc. of an instant classic. Can't wait.
  21. I like Whitlow, but he can't run the air raid. Smith isn't a gamer at all, I know I'm gonna get heat for that. He looks soft, and has zero confidence throwing the ball. Towels a kid who fits the mold of your air raid pocket passer. I say if they want to stick with what they know (the coaching staff) then try out Towels.
