  1. You might be. LSU's QB play is horrible. 6 TD's 3 INT's 50% completion. The final score against MSU wasn't awful but that was never a game it was 31-10 going into the fourth quarter. They were embarrassed by Auburn, and had every reason to lose to Wisco. Part of it may be the expectations the Tigers had for this season. But I believe the other part is they just aren't that good. Much like SC.
  2. ND's defense has been pretty consistent this year. If they can take care of the ball they can win this one. I'll say.. Irish- 38 Noles- 34
  3. Bama is good. Plain and simple. They lost by 6 at Ole Miss who is going to be 1 or 2? Not a Bama fan/supporter/anything, but to say they aren't very good is unfair. Where people get confused is the comparison of Bama teams of past to this team. We are used to a superior product. Bama is still good just not what we are used to seeing.
  4. The only thing LSU is effective with is the run game. If our D can force turnovers and keep the run game in check I like our chances. The offense cannot turn the ball over. I hope Towels can take care of the ball because that D will be coming after him. I just feel there is no way this game is a blow out. I'll say.. UK- 34 LSU- 28
  5. As for the game, I was there, it was cold. I tip my hat to the turn out today. Fans were there, engaged it was great for a noon time game against ULM. I will note this is just having fun. They started to really play well when they were loose and flying around to the ball. They have swag too, not cocky, but just very sure of themselves. I like the dancing, and camaraderie this team exhibits. Towels looked pretty good. Only two or three balls I saw that could be put on him. He throws a great deep ball and I believe they should throw down field more often, because teams are gonna key in on guys like Kemp, Williams, and Heard. Also, the WR's this year do not seem to drop the ball a whole lot. Tight spirals coming in, I just haven't seen too many drops. I'm liking the product on the field props to Stoops and co. for the job they have done thus far. BTW, if you get the chance, and are close enough, watch Neal Brown coach. He is great in his approach to the playes, and his antics on the sidelines.
  6. I'm gonna assume he was referring to someone else.
  7. Man, we might as well pack up the rest of the season. Lift weights, condition, and work on the play book. The article is not claiming UK to be some Juggernaut that rose from dust. It simply states that given the performance, or lack thereof, in the SEC east this division of the conference is VERY winnable. Tennessee is awful, scored 9 pts at home against a pretty bad UF team. We already beat Vandy so that is irrelevant. Huge come from behind win against SC may have not played out how we would have liked, but it was a win. Mizzou and LSU are wild cards to me. LSU has fallen off and that game seems winnable with the mojo UK has going for itself. This team is fearless and playing with confidence. Mizzou has a bad loss at home, I'm not buying what they are selling just yet. Miss St. is a loss but that seems irrelevant as well for this debate. Finally, UGA, ohhhh UGA. Gurley is a human ice truck with a v-8 twin turbo engine. That will be a tough game. But I believe the last home game of the year and we are on the spot like that it could be something special. That could shape up to be a huge game given the potential circumstances. Remember a desperate dog has to eat. Not trying to jump all over you I just like the vibes and feel this team can do something special. This is my opinion and it may be disputed.
  8. I was waiting for someone to post it.. Thought to myself, no way. Then reviewed the schedule once more, and it IS something attainable for this squad. Mizzou, UGA, and Tenn are the SEC teams they have left to face. To me the big game and most important, right now in a vacuum, is Mizzou. If they can win that one then beat UGA they can book it. I have no problem with saying they can beat Mizzou, the same team who lost at home to IU. UGA will be tough, and it will be huge game if they beat Missouri. At least that one is at Commonwealth. For the record I can think 7-5 is gonna happen.
  9. Anyway, who cares what Boeheim has to say. Talent, depth, and experience speak for themselves.
  10. The guy is suspended indefinitely what else is Stoops supposed to do? So now we should dismiss everyone his arrested/accused of a crime?
  11. Right, they have turned the corner. But, I am referring to their stance in the conference. A road win would send a message to the SEC.
  12. Great win for the Cats, but if they can go to Death Valley and pull out a victory that would nudge them over this proverbial hump. Should be noted that a victory like that would be earlier in the maturation process of the Stoops regime than most would expect. The excitement around the program is great though!
  13. I had a good friend go to ND so I became a closet ND fan, and went to catholic schools my whole life so I guess that factors in too. Anyways, I'm excited to see what they can do against FSU. NC isn't a write off, but seeing them in Tallahassee will be cool.
  14. Noticed a lot of greatest team ever talk in this thread. (I know most of it is in good fun, well, maybe) But how do we feel about 2012 UK v. the current squad. Of course time being the missing ingredient, but that team (2012) is the closest thing to perfect we have experienced. That said, Idk if this team would match up with 2012 all too well. Just curious. Thoughts?
  15. I'm with you. KSR is a good resource for news, but they are a superpower when it comes to UK sports and they know it. I personally scan the site for recruiting news, and believe the was they portray UK fandom is embarrassing at times.
  16. Wireman, to your knowledge, does anyone from KSR read BGP? Just curious about the PC play there.
  17. ND quietly moving their way up the polls. I love when ND is relevant. FWIW.
  18. Impressive come back win tonight. Old UK would have crumbled in the 1 Q. This team has a mentality instilled in them that is contagious and will carry them for games to come. Props to the staff, and of course hell of a game from the young man Jo Jo Kemp!
  19. The notion of a season long suspension is laughable. That's just not gonna happen. No one can answer the question of how a shot fired from an air soft gun sounds like that of a pistol. Either there is more to the story, or a very unlikely coincidence.
  20. So how does shots fired formulate from the "initial report". For the record I find it hard to believe someone heard shots fired from a BB gun. Someone in my back yard could fire off a BB gun and it would go unheard. Again just trying to see this situation.
  21. I have a legitimate question. How does firing a BB gun turn into a report to the police that shots have been fired. All the air soft, BB, and pellet guns I have owned in my day have more or less been silent. Were they seen wielding the BB guns or were the guns an upgraded model? Just trying to picture how this went down.
