I have to say that being a GM and signing a pitcher to a long term deal has to be a nerve wracking experience for your job security, especially in small to medium market. There is absolutely no way of telling what is going on inside that arm, even with MRI's and whatnot.

UK is the game every team circles the minute schedule comes out. Hard to make kids, especially frosh, understand that. To call it embarrassing is reaching. It's one game, on the road, with a huge game coming up. It happens.

I watched a little bit of smackdown last night in anticipation of rumble. Who is the lead announcer? He makes it almost impossible for me to watch. Every move is over sold and acts like the simplest of moves like a drop kick will end the match. Needs to tone it down some.

I listen to 2, WCF, FW and 84 more but once a year in the spring I sit in my basement with the speakers up to 11 and listen to VH1 about 3 or 4 times with a twelve pack. Every time I do I wish I was old enough when it came out and that I could have seen the legendary Oakland shows. I love the book on VH with all the quotes from the musicians of the day who said they had to stop everything they were doing and re learn guitar when this album came out. Awesome.

They have tried so hard for so long to make His and Hers relevant. The guy on the show said other day that they will be become even more political now that they are moving to tv. It's ESPN trying to forward their social issues. Greenberg is ok but Golic is better. Greeny definitely would rather talk issues more than Golic who has also stated he's not doing this much longer. I just don't enjoy watching this channel all that much anymore. Reporting sports is not their main objective any longer.

Technically VH is not an American band. Brothers were born in Netherlands. They grew up in Cali though so they are considered an American band. And a darn good one at that. Also I may be old but REM would be at the very top on my list of the worst bands ever.

Texans seem to play every home playoff game against teams depleted by injury at very key posistions. For some reason I just don't like them, maybe cause Bengals were that team once or twice. Raiders were long shot to win this but qb didn't get much help from his wr's. Plenty of dropped passes or incompletions they didn't seem to fight real hard for.

Wow. I've read a few threads on HC basketball and it's negative 100% or very near. Is this the new mafia? Starts with an L instead of a P. For those without a biased opinion, is the coaching this bad or don't have the talent?
