Maybe he just didn't want to play for Dusty!! -
Bowling Green 44 Christian County 29
dpeevh replied to PurplePride92's topic in KY Football (High School)
On a side note wonder if I could ask a question. As a CCH fan, and I realize they have to get past Fern which will be hard enough to do, but from those who know, just how good is BG? I keep reading about them like they are this monster unbearable team and maybe they are. Just asking. How do they compare to a few teams I know like Trinity, Scott Co, Ryle and say a Colerain out of Cincy? Those are 4 pretty stout teams that would be a tough game -
Reds designate John Lamb for Assignment
dpeevh replied to littleluck55's topic in Major League Baseball (MLB)
How did the Reds get screwed? They dealt for three lefties. Did you honestly think all three were going to be studs? One is in rotation and had a really nice 2nd half run, one spent some time up this year and has a chance to be a starter next year and one didn't pan out, partly due to injuries AFTER the trade. If 2 are in rotation for 3-4 years, that's a good trade. Weren't re signing Cueto at end of year. -
Goldberg to Smackdown?

He's my favorite reason to watch currently. Now if they would quit messing around with Cesaro and do something with him, I might tune in for more than 15 minutes. -
Goldberg to Smackdown?

That was a cool return. The emotion you could tell was genuine and the way he interacted with the kids was awesome. He still looks good but after 12 years no way he can hang with Lesnar. On a side note, Chris Jericho may be the perfect heel. I love his act. -
I think in 7 weeks they are 7-6 or 8-5. I like the edge they played with today and the way they ran the ball. Dalton is playing pretty darn good.

Tim Tebow Prays and Brings Man Back to Life?
dpeevh replied to Wireman's topic in Major League Baseball (MLB)
That's my point. The media takes a story and makes it so you get so tired of hearing it. Tebow hasn't done anything in 3 years but because he's religious and has a following, he still gets a ton of coverage. Same with Jenner. Because he, she, whatever is doing something that the left love, the media makes it out to be important. In a whole lot of people's eyes, it isn't. -

I understand that people get tired of him, I really do. But there's a lot of people who get sick of hearing about Bruce Jenner, Kapernick, the latest athlete to come out of the closet, etc that are slammed down our throats every chance the media get. But since Tebow is talking religion and Jesus, he gets chrushed. Sometimes I wish the media( left and right) would just go away. Maybe then people could actually form an opinion of their own. -
I want to share a story about the last game. Someone posted a few weeks back about how bad the Reds treated their fans and how the soccer team in town was a much better option for fans. Earlier in the year my wife and I took our autistic son to a game because he loves the Reds and Votto. He didn't do very well and was worried about the fireworks that may happen. When I told our sales rep - we have a 20 game season ticket package and he called to ask about next season- I told him if we can find a way to get him through a game it would be great. A couple of days later he called to say that a season ticket suite holder would not be using his tickets for the last game and that the tickets were ours, donated. Our son could go to the game but sit inside without fear of noise!! This gentlemen went out of his way to get us to a game and in a suite at that!! We had a blast and made all 9 innings. I'm not sure if my son was happier or my wife but a big thank you to whoever donated and to the Reds employee. He obviously went out of his way for us. We will be renewing our tickets for sure.

Clash of Champions

Was Cesaro match good or did they do 5 minutes and waste time? I love watching Cesaro and would love to see him and Cena or Styles go at some point in future. -
They just played Alabama. The letdown factor is large!
-
In central, yes, I agree.
-
You do realize they just were swept at home by Mets correct? That's 14 loses IN A ROW to them. Other than Hamilton, who didn't play? They are not better than the Nationals, Dodgers or Giants either at this point. Better than they were earlier in year but don't over do it.

Covington Catholic Announces Renovation Plans
dpeevh replied to Clyde's topic in KY Football (High School)
Never seen one go to plan and never seen one on budget in a long, long, time. Good luck with that. -
Wow. That's a bit more than telling isn't it. I hadn't seen that but not shocked.

What is high level football at next level? Zigg may play D1 if he even wants to play next level and I'm assuming AJ has shot at D1. Anyone else I'm missing? -
Bengals cut Brandon Tate - Hellbird Celebrates
dpeevh replied to littleluck55's topic in National Football League (NFL)
My guess is that they told him that if he doesn't hook up elsewhere, stay in shape just in case. Don't like cutting the good guys but it's part of business, kids or no kids. -
Monday Night Raw (August 29th)
dpeevh replied to Randy Parker's topic in Boxing / Mixed Martial Arts / Professional Wrestling
I got home at 10:40 to watch last bit. My wife hates wrestling but she was watching with me last 10 minutes before bed. When HHH came out I said Owens just won. It would have been same old, same old if Hunter helped Seth. Seth and HHH will definitely battle. I wonder where they are going with HHH/Stephanie or maybe it was a HHH/Cactus swerve? Does anyone see Cens making one more run or is he now just the guy who gets a US title every so often and puts younger guys over the top? I know he's not on raw, just curious -
SummerSlam 2016
dpeevh replied to Randy Parker's topic in Boxing / Mixed Martial Arts / Professional Wrestling
Question for those who get to watch more often than I do. I know he's hurt now but Balor comes in from NXT and they make him the first universal champ? I keep waiting for the Cesaro push because he is by far the best in the ring but I guess it comes down to that and the mic. Is Balor that good with mic like Rollins and Rock? Cesaro not great with it but not bad. When I do get to watch he's my favorite by far.
