I like that movie as well but it's funny that Stephen King hates it. Too many to choose from. I love a lot of movies but two I always watch, one a drama is Where Eagles Dare and one a comedy is Blazing Saddles.

Slap Shot and The Longest Yard- the original version, along with some others mentioned previously, especially Rocky.

Kentucky Teen bitten by Shark in Destin Florida (Spring Break 2017)

I've been to sandbars a bunch. Never heard of dangers from sharks. Any particular reason they are attracted to it other than people meat? -

What a great quote. Powerful stuff. That is just really awesome. Thanks for posting, it got me to thinking a bit. -
And blew leads in eighth and ninth today. Bullpens are a managers worst nightmare year in, year out.

dpeevh replied to Theoldguy's topic in KY Baseball (High School)
Due to field conditions they moved games back and played limited tourney. Jv tourney was rained out at Conner and they hadn't played since Monday so they took last game vs Ryle -

Athleticism trumps morals every time in the NFL. Raiders and Steelers of 70's weren't choir boys, Giants 80's team, cowboys of 90's either. I'd take Pats coach any day of week but is there any doubt he'd do whatever it takes to win a game. Not defending Jones but c'mon, teams aren't cutting anyone who can help them out unless they have depth that they can afford to do so. I'm a big believer in chemistry but most of his teammates seem to like this guy. He's an idiot but again, it's the NFL.

His dad Mike is just a great guy. Good luck to the young man.

I care so that's why I gave my two cents. It's ok to have an opinion, correct? I love seeing kids having some ownership in the facilities they use rather than just being given everything. I came from a program where you got dirty getting field ready in both baseball and football and I appreciated that later in life. I think it's great that kids have to work on a field, that's me though. You obviously could care less and that's you. I used Moeller because it's a super nice field but the city does everything to the field and the kids do nothing. Just struck me that the kids just show up and play and are given this beautiful facility. Nothing personal at all towards Mo though. Sorry you took it that way.

Bengals Sign LB Kevin Minter
dpeevh replied to futurecoach's topic in National Football League (NFL)
Don't answer him... Did that a few times, not worth it. -
Keep it to real grass, the way it should be. Some fields are unbelievable but I like the ones where the players and coaches actually work on the field. Moeller( Cincy ) is great but program does nothing on it. St Henry used to be great but can't play on it when it has drop of water on it. In NKY Walton and Dixie have nice fields.

A lot of swings changed from opposing teams there. We lost there more than we won. Had a little to do with how good they were at the time as well!!
-
I loved playing there. Find it unreal that even though they built field on Rt 8, the field on the hill didn't remain as practice field. I guess a certain football coach made sure it was football only.

Smith can't stay healthy enough to depend on him for right tackle for 16 games. If he moves to guard or is an insurance policy at right tackle, fine with it.

RB Rex Burkhead - Signed with the Patriots
dpeevh replied to UK#1fanisback's topic in National Football League (NFL)
I remember when a friend of mine who was a huge Dolphins fan said Welker going to pats was no big deal and I said just wait and see. I have a bad feeling about Rex going there. Not saying it will be Welker big but I hate to see him go. Best of luck to an underulidilized player while here. This move will get zero buzz nationally but I have a feeling once again. -
Coming from Steve Smith I'll take that as a compliment. However, Ben, Bryant, Bell, Mitchell and AB have represented so well!!

So Arkansas is classless but things thrown from Cats fan(s) weren't?
