I guess Coach Menifee

I think if Steve Hunt applies, because rumor has it that he doesn't have much a chance in Ft. Thomas, that he is favorite because of his connections to the administration.

Rumors from someone closet the program says 2 former Highlands assistants, Beau Menifee for sure, DHS assistants Billy Rogg, Nathan Dilts, & a Newport assistant that played at Calgary.

I shall plead the 5th!! I will not incriminate myself or anyone else.

Walter is the Don Webber of our generation!

Interviews start next week, Tuesday and Wednesday.

I am unaware on who they are interviewing.

at best Dixie is the 4th best team in NKY. in watching his development he will be suited for a mid major. I really don't think Xavier is interested. Yes he is stronger and potentially a better player than Redford, but I think Mack is done with that experiment. I believe he would be a great fit for Winthrop or other low level D-1. I really would like to see him at WKU, EKU, or Murray St., heck maybe even NKU. As long as he doesn't end up at Duke, UNC, or Ohio State I will root for B. Hatton to get his. Yeah, and if he does transfer I hope its not in the 10th region because he kills us!

B. Stowers was a varsity assistant at SK"s girls teams when they made their runs thru the 8th Region. He also excelled on the AAU circuit with Derek Smith's All Stars teams. He was an assistant coach at NKU before he decided to focus on his degree. His mother is currently battling cancer and is in the late stages of chemotherapy. I believe, God Bless that I am correct, that she is expected to make a full recovery. So, I don't know if this would derail his coaching plans right now.

Just giving you a hard way to go. i was informed that Henley would love to come back but some other issues.

I was hoping Sam Elsbrand from Covington Holmes/Scott would get a shot. He is very deserving!

Brendan is the only Stowers option

I heard Snapp, Blevins, and Louisville coach are early favorites.

Walter knows it all. Just like UK offering Bolden already.

My guess is someone from outside the region.

I ran into Coach Walls at the State Tourney. He had just resigned from coach football at Dayton because he wanted to focus on basketball and he has a new addition to his family, right before Coach Dilts resigned. He said that he "LOVED" being at Scott and working with Coach Carr. I tried to sell it to him because he is a "Dayton guy" and he just said he loved the atmosphere @Scott. I got the feeling that he wanted to spend the summers with his son!!

I can promise you he is not their priority. They are working on a PG from Brooklyn who is suppose to be the next Chris Paul!! I have very good inside info for a sports beat writer who cover UK 24/7. However, Bolden could play the 2. Very promising player and works his tail off. I wish the best and love to hear kids form Kentucky, especially NKY, with the possibility of playing for the CATS.

Wallking out of the gym last night and the young coach from Scott walks up to one of Montgomery County assistants who was talking with a group of people and says " coach here is the the scouting reports of the teams we played this year that have already made it into Rupp, go win the whole thing." One parent from Montgomery says "that's first class". Good luck to Montgomery County next week, they were the best team in the region all year and they will represent the tenth region well next week.

Let's GO BROSSART!!

Great for this kid!!

I can promise you that he is every bit of 6'4! During football season he hovers between 250-260. In the Scott Eagles run and gun basketball program he plays about 240. If he redshirted they would get him to 280 easy. He is very strong and works hard in the weight room. He has very long arms and would be a great DE, prospect.

Another classic between these two great programs. With all do respect to every other rivalry, this is the best in the ninth region.

This one on the world wide web anywhere?

Clyde, my friend, your opening yourself up to ridicule. Let them blame the officials. 2 of the officials were consistent and good. One, was average on BOTH ends of the floor.

As far as JV goes, that is so off topic and unjust! Scott was up by one at half. They scored 9 points in the second half. The rotation didn't change and calls didn't change by officials or coach. Difference was their were SELFISH and didn't guard or rebound in second half. Scott has a nice jv team and has a bright future, however, they got into a rut and were looking at the light at the end of the tunnel. Its hard being a JV player at this time of year because you don't have much to play for and your are for most part playing the role of your first round district opponent that you dont work on much of "your team stuff".
