Dumbest rule I've ever heard.

I'm hearing today that Findlay Prep will not be allowed to play at Rupp, because they have a UK recruit and supposedly that's agains NCAA regulations. Anyone know the details?

You probably know just as well as gchs_uk9 and I know, that most people stand along the south end zone anyways. I expect the standing to spread all the way to the north end zone also, and of course on the sides of the field. I can see 5,000 being held in Dyehouse.

I have heard that they have been charging at the soccer gate anyways the past few games, for the people who park at the soccer parking lot and watch from their cars. They charge them the same $5 admission.

That's a good point about moving the fireworks. What they would do if the moved them, would probably be moving them to the softball field which is kind of behind the north end zone. I haven't heard what they were going to do yet though.

How in the world are we getting our shoes muddy on this turf field? Come on guys we're better than that!

I think a lot of people are basing their opinions on the name on the front of the jersey which is much understandable. Garrard County has loads of speed, inside and outside, and can throw the deep ball at any time. The only thing that I worry about for Garrard is stopping the belly plays, and not getting sucked in too far on what they think is a belly, and then Belfry turns it around the outside for a long score.

That's awesome that they travel that way! Garrard has a very small bleacher section, but most Garrard fans stand along the field, which personally I like. Should be the biggest crowd in history I believe. With the traveling of Belfry, and Garrard being the only area team still playing ball. Boyle, Lincoln, Mercer, and Danville fans will have people in attendance I would believe. Should be an exciting atmosphere for these young men!

:laugh: The opposing teams are lucky enough to even have bleachers to sit on. This game is about the kids. I go to every single Garrard County game and stand. A little standing won't hurt anyone!

I have a bias towards Garrard County, but I honestly think that they can come out with a win. Garrard is at home, is on a 12 game win streak, they have 2 running backs that are averaging close to 150 yards per game a piece. I just think this game is going to be speed against speed. I guess we'll see when the time comes!

What a great game this was. Garrard came out from the get-go and put Powell in a huge hole. So excited for my Lions! No one can ever take that from those young men. Now it's to the Final Four!

That's true. I'm wondering what kind of crowd there will be tonight. In one aspect, since it's a regional championship, I'd be expecting a fairly large crowd. On the other hand, there are always those select few Garrard fans that only want to come to the game if it's 70 degrees and sunny. Side note. Today as I was walking to class at EKU, I saw a girl with a "Powell County Football" shirt on. I asked her if they were bringing a big crowd, and she said that they were bringing plenty of people to pack that side of the football field. I guess we'll see about that.

I was thinking the same thing. I know that they had a very big sophomore class last year, that are now juniors.

Why would he leave McCreary Central to go to Burgin? No disrespect to Burgin at all, but McCreary Central has had some pretty good talent the last few years.

That's quite a bit of size. Any more teams that anyone knows of that can tower over some teams this year?
