Goose was not nearly as fast as Cameron. He had great hands and ran tremendous routes, but the speed wasn't top end. FYI, 6' 194 is plenty big enough play WR, RB, or DB in college, even at the elite level. Even starting to see a lot of LBs in the 6'-6'1 size, as colleges move to speed vs size.

I don't dispute that. Those two classes headlined by Simpson and Lawrence were special, not sure where Miles went to middle school but I know Chads class was unbeaten two years at Summit View.

As for BW being developmental, that's laughable and you know it. I would guess, and I could be wrong, that BW has more kids playing college football today than SK does, and I will guarantee that to be true if you use a per capita analysis.

There is no predetermined youth football program, at least at Moe. There is a Catholic league, but they have little to no affiliation nor do they have any expectations of where the kids go. End up at Moe, Bacon, McNick etc.

Yep. It appeared the Red Colonels game plan was to stop him and make BW throw the ball. They certainly contained him, only a couple long runs and no back breaking plays. Fieger stepped up huge, could have thrown every down.

I have watched that young ref a few times, and he should be glad ESPN doesn't cover nky football games. He is simply stealing money. As for the game, it was statistically dominated by the Tigers, but a punt return and a 7 yard td drive kept it close. Dixie had 10 guys within 5 yards of the los and dared Fieger to beat them. Kyle throws a really nice ball, and threw at will. Dixie tackles very well and has some kids that really fly to the football. Tigers were down a starter going into the game. and lost Slusher midway through second quarter. He is a huge asset on both sides of the football, and it took the Tigers a couple series on D to figure out how to adjust. Silver lining was 8th grader Everett saw time in his slot and made a significant impact.

That would be like convincing Belichick to take the Bengals gig. Barker only player in area Spurrier would come to see.

SK hands down the best team in the district. Granted, that is akin to being the tallest "little person", but none the less it is what it is. They win this one easily.

I've not seen Dixie play, but from their scores it seems like they have trouble scoring. I simply cannot see anyone shutting down this BW offense, going to take a shootout to beat them. I will say 34-13 Tigers.

If the same two teams show up that I watched play BW, CC wins by two touchdowns. That said, this is the same Camel team that lost to Dixie.

Honestly, for a school the size of SK, that list is actually pathetic. You could find a list just like that at many smaller schools all over the state. Not much developing going on over in Independence.

Agree about future of CC with 14 at the helm. Really ran that offense well. At the end of the day the speed sweeps by Stringer were just too much to stop. I will say one thing, with combs sealing the edge and slusher blocking outside and combined with Ethans speed and vision, that play is a weapon.

CC is very good team, IMO the best team our Tigers have played to this point. That team is huge, and lead by a kid at QB that has to be 6'5. A big hit by Kyle Rowe on a punt return that caused a fumble seemed to once and for all turn the tide in the Beechies favor tonight, and ultimately they won the second half 28-6, but this game felt much closer than it was. Great job by both teams. This is the 4th year I have followed the Tigers frosh team, and this one is special and very fun to watch play. Skill players are off the charts. Slusher left game in 4th tonight, no clue why. Coach took his helmet from him, so I am certainly hoping he is fine. Great win Tigers, keep in rolling next week vs Dixie.

Don't know anything about CC. Only common opponent I know of is NCC. CC beat them 36-33, BW beat them 43-13 with both scores coming against second unit D. I am not into the whole transitive properties game, so would love to hear about CC. I remember in middle school last year they had a huge QB.
