I guess when the entire game of horrible calls throughout the game going both ways builds up to (3) controversial calls at end of the game, that's why everyone was about to blow a gasket and booed the refs out of the gym. But it's over, that's sports and that's life. The only thing anyone can hope for is whoever assigns officials they'll take this game a little more serious and assign refs with more experience and possibly a third ref. Congrats to Cov Cath! and Congrats to Boone County with the most improved team I've seen this year!

Wow I froze it to where the Boone player has finger tips on the ball and does not touch the CC player hand. If a call had to be made possibly a jumpball but definitely not a foul. That's what I thought I saw. Thanks

I agree with travel call 100%. What about not allowing Boone players to sub since CC threw ball out of bounds without anyone touching it. Is that correct call? I have no idea and neither did refs. I heard ref say "I'm pretty sure this is how it's handled."

Boone has been in championship JV game 3 of last 4 years winning 2 titles. No varsity 9th region titles though in past 4 years.

It's a shame the game ended the way it did. Ref called foul on Boone kid with no time left and the game was tied. Both sides said player did not foul. CC player hit first free throw to win game. The Cov Cath team didn't even celebrate. The refs really did take away from a great game. Sad for all the players involved on both sides. Some crazy calls on both sides in this game. Everyone should listen to CC internet broadcast of the end of this game and you'll hear out it played out. Cov Cath coaches were very apologetic. I wish the ref assigner put more value in this championship game and would assign 2 or 3 very experienced refs so this isn't how a game of this caliber pans out. Very sad for all involved with so much time committed to a long season of games and practices.

Sydney Moss is best point guard in N. KY. She's played a lot of point this year. She can dribble extremely well and makes great passes. I don't think it's even a discussion for best, it's probably who's 2nd best.

Boone JV beat Highlands JV today. Boone will be in Championship game.

So the final four are: Cov Cath vs. New Cath and Boone vs. Highlands. Good Luck teams!

8th grader Carson Williams (younger brother of Sawyer) made all-tournament team. Great minutes and some huge rebounds to help Owen win.

Boone beat Graves County in championship to win tournament.

Ockerman 8th grade boys won the Turkeyfoot tournament beating Blessed Sacrament by 6. There was an all tournament teamed named but I don't have the complete list.

Randy did see Thad's last shot of the game. He was in the foyer watching the end of the game and left to get over to Boone to watch his daughter play.
